I have had people buy me lots of winchester knives as presents over the years (about 15) and not a single one was worth a squirt of piss.
1st clue that a knife is shit is that they are ashamed of the shit steel they use and dont put the steel type proudly on the choil-ricasso area in plain sight. They even try to trick rookies into believing "stainless" means anything other than recycled sinks ! If they were honest and proud of the material it would say 440C ATS34 154CM 303 416 etc.
I Would say this is a Heavy knife for it's size :S You gotta use Lead knifes if you think this is a light knife.... It's not the heaviest tho, but it's still a heavy knife with alot of weight behind it.
Ive had mine for 4 years its been dropped, thrown against a wall full force and failed.... its been landed on(in sheath on the front of my belt), stabbed into the ground with gravel, edge worn completely to a dull butter knife and re sharpened, its on its second factory sheath and has a few battle scars on the wood handle and is still holding strong and i love it Winchester did this knife the right way when it comes to knives
@MuskratBushcraft its one quarter of a quarter of an inch wide edge is about 3.5 inches long and the whole knife its self from tip to butt its about 8 or 9 inches from what i know
Great knife. Sharp strong bad ass and slick looks. Its a total man knife.
