I played the japanese version.

That was a fantastic one.

From the scenario I can tell you its greater than zero or 6.

The only equivalent good one would be 5, the unsung war...

but the story knocks everyone out who played it throughly.

I really want Namco to remake this, but I know that won't happen...

I want them to remake this game for 360 and PS3. Becuase the west never got to injoy this game. All the cutsences and story was striped off for the US import verson...why, I don't know.

R-101 , R-102, R-103 The Dolphins, R-103 is my favourite plane of AC3 , Yep Namco should really release something like AC on PS2 or PS3 , and Bandai visual should start creating Anime of AC3

Man I need to get a Japanese PS1 or PS2 and a JP version of AC3, but I remember the first time I saw the JP intro in the NA version, I was enthraled by it, and it's still amazing to this day.

It would be great if Namco decides to make a release of AC3 for the PS3, or even the PS2. I spent over 2 years playing what I thought was one of the greatest games on the PSX... but I just realized we were screwed. What a shame, really.

I have a Japan Version, this is a Two Disc Games becasue the disc is flood of Story base animation!!!

don't like Euro version one Disc for all Mission.

play the came through on hard difficultly and get an a rankung on all missions (yes, its very hard) and then get an a in the mission geopelia on the hard ranking, then take a cam and take photos of the planes off the tv. ;)

I'm afraid you need to import 2 things from Japan.

Because we should be careful of the difference between Japanese version and US version.

1. AceCombat3, maybe you could find it in USA, especially in shops where deal in import games.

2. PsOne, all games of Japanese version can not be played on PsOne that is US version.

What an excellent intro, one of my favorite of the PS1 era along with Ridge Racer Type 4 and Soul Blade.

It's a shame the western versions of AC3 were so watered down. Japanese Ac3 was on 2 discs with an absoultely riveting plot.

I'll never forget flying the Nightraven aircraft at Mach 3...

Shame they deleted the story and made it a near plotless Flight Shooting sim in the US and European Version. JP version rocks like...rocks...

BUt definitely the Ace Combat series part on which the aircraft can carry more missiles ever permitted on the entire series: An aircraft (XFA-3gA Game) carries about 182 missiles, wow. This makes it look a little like like Macross Missile Massacre, complimented by multi warhead missiles and 6-launch-at-a-time missiles.
