  • Honey you don't need us to tell you to break a leg, as I am certain it will be a raving success. It may seem like Im exaggerating, but I'm not. You are awesome. Totally cool, intelligent and talented. I'll just wish you much success. Though the way I see it, you already are successful. Making the choice you made. Youre my hero.

  • so glad to know more about you in this video though i just watched it today:)

it's very courageous for what you've chosen..and hope things find you very well now!

  • The hair! lol.

  • you hair looks nice

  • huuuuuuuuu

  • who are you talking to

  • Wow! Props to you for giving up that job and doing what you love.

I'm in a somewhat similar field. I'm probably never going to make any money, but I don't care because it makes me happy.

  • It's cool to see someone following what they love instead of just the money trail.

God bless you and I hope you just go up and up in your career.

  • It is a tough choice! thanks so much for the support!

  • a little late, but we say: "Hals- und Beinbruch"

    =)

  • sexy

  • Wait a minute...the same amazing voice, the same bike in the background...but who is this woman? Are you same Katz20two as in the other videos?

  • yeup!! guess I clean up pretty good ;) *blush* thanks

  • Oh, and I saw Blunty's video with you visiting, very cool! I hope you two had a great time and it looks like you did! =D

  • Wow, what a pleasant upbeat video! Your enthusiam and love of your work is endearing.

  • Oh my gosh your so pretty.

    And i want your job!

    =]

  • I'm still catching up on your vids, so my good wishes are coming late. Sorry. But here they are: break a leg! Preferably someone else's leg!

Your courage is large, and your smile tells me you've made a good decision. Be happy.

  • man, I wish I was as happy as a person as you

  • well... remember this is only a 4min moment in time.

  • Having only just joined You Tube and going therough the back log of videos I want to check out, its great to know that such a hard task is going really well

  • Watching you is like drinking an energy drink. You are so full of life and wonder. And I want to mention that you look GREAT in this vid, I really like the way you have your hair in this one. (God I sound like a stalker lol) I'm sure you will be sucessful in whatever you do. I wish I could see your plays. I was in theater in HS but never had the opertunity after.

  • Only the 2nd of your vids I have seen. You remind me of a waitress/artist I met once in Olywa. I agree with VideoViper, great voice. I am once again amazed at how much more attractive confident, intelligent women are. Good luck on grad school.

  • YEAH!!!! THANK YOU SOOO SOOO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING YOUR LOCAL THEATRE!!! WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!

  • Wow, it's awesome that your life is so awesome. Your life must be like an episode of the Wuzzles or My Little Pony! Care Bears everywhere must jizz themselves over you!

  • Wow great post, after reading that I felt like taking candy from strangers would be ok :)

  • *giggle* sorry can't help but wonder... would Cheer Bear's jizz be pink or rainbow?

  • jizz color would probably relate to the individual carebear's powers...err no, i guess rainbow with those little 'star baby' things that were always floatin around.

  • LOL!! and here I thought those floaty thingys were just corn... *giggle* I'm sorry, did I just say that outloud??? been around too many backstage crew boys for faaaarrr too long!

  • wow! that's going too far.

  • Nice Blog, nice to see people that make decisions with their heart and not based on money. Would be nice to see one of your theatre productions, too bad I am on the other end of the world.

    Cheers,

    Alex

  • Thanks for sharing your colorful life Ms. Director! : ) Continue on loving your passions ma'm. I'm fascinated with your theatrical life and all concerning it. Good luck to your new ventures! I hope we from webdate_dot_com could see your plays.

  • hmmm... sorry, I won't be able to show any of the actual plays. it violates equity rules (the actors union)... but have another show coming up in the next few weeks and might do a behind the scenes thingy... this will take awhile though. but maybe...

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • ROFL!!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAA!!! miss this!! thanks! brilliant! love that skit!

  • How did opening night go katz20two?

  • hmmm... got behind with collaboration viddy editing... hopefully will get the review soon!!!

  • This stuff is great self-help,i can watch this over and over still have no idea what she is talking about. Maybe one day i will be able to listen to women when they talk.

  • maybe?

  • Okay,I know everything went well, remember when working with wood, screws are better than nails. If you prefer you could be an actress, you are very good on camera.

  • thanks! but no, I know it may seem strange to say this after making youtube viddy's but I prefer not being in the spotlight. makes me too nervous! ;))

  • Hope all went well....knockem dead

  • OMG, a hot chick who is on You Tube who is articulate and is above 18 years of age! And she said something about seeing me tomorrow night! Oh baby!

  • *smooch* on the cheek for that one!!

  • My God, girl!!....you take the term 'Drama Queen' to a freakishly new level!!....Get over yourself...

  • my apologies. had no intentions of this seeming braggish or pompous. please forgive any arrogance I might have given the impression of. *humbled*

  • Kat, you can't please everyone. In no way or even the slightest way could this have been taken as any drama. This person is obviously trolling, feels threatened and/or is crazy. I think a more appropriate response to these types of comments is silence.

Some feel by devaluing others, it inflates their own value. In this person's case, they achieved the exact opposite.

  • good for you! looking for a date? go and get someone to hook up with in webdate*com.. many guys would probably attracted to your smile there in webdate!

  • Sure You may be Broke...But you Have a Million Doller Smile! Who Can Buy One Of Those? Thanks for Sharing It with Us All...

  • *blush* thanks so much!

  • well, I watched all your videos starting with this one going backwards to the first one trying to find out what you did before theater. (sigh) you never said. I was thinking it may be in radio. if not you should look into it. if you think Youtube feeds you ego. geeeez being on the radio will get you stoned.

    be well

  • nope never worked nor even went to a play until college!

  • well if you ever wanted to do something new. give radio try. you got a great voice for it, thats why I watch you videos just to hear that voice. Trust me, I'm been doing radio for 25 years. right now I put on 6 newscasts a day.

    break a leg.

  • There is something so intoxicating about watching a beautiful woman who is happy. Thanks for sharing your warmth.

Good luck with your project. ;)

  • wow, look whose all dressed up with make up and pretty hair :)

  • Well you are probably involved in your evening right now! So CONGRATS!! Break an appendage! Very happy for you!

  • If your work in the theatre is of the same caliber as the work you put here on youtube...tonight is going to be superb! I enjoy your vids and wish you the best for opening night! :)

  • Break a leg! Follow your bliss.:)

  • Break a leg, chica! <3 the theatre

  • Congratulations in advance katz, ain't no stopping you now!

  • Glad you followed your heart and found a career you love!

  • she is cute ...ru single?

  • aw wow! 3 plays! all at the same time- quite a workload! it will all go swimmingly, i am sure of it! (or... it did go swimmingly? i don't know what time this is in relation to you!)

  • other two are tonight! heading out now for a last minute prop and gift cards for the running crew... will post a vid tonight after this one. will talk soon! THANKS!!!!

  • Which plays are you directing- anything we'd know?

Good luck for them anyway. I hope you have a great time.

  • actually probably not. they are locally written, new works. Which makes it even more fun because you can work with the writer as well!

  • HEY THERE!! thanks so much for all your support!!! how cool is everyone... I am terrified about tonight, have to get to tech this morn will make another viddy before show tonight if tech goes well!!! THANKS!!!

  • Cool! I love the theater. I've seen over a hundred plays in community theaters and I read a lot of plays. I hope more thespians use YouTube to give us a little culture.

  • ditto with response to mikma. Thanks!

  • You go Girl!! *GLOMPS* (with a good vibe good luck hug) Oh... and to keep the set up use duct tape... I was stage manager for our school play... and I had a roll of it around my wrist the whole time... it came in handy.

  • I wish you all the best of luck! I won't say 'break a leg' because last time I said that to someone, they fell off a prop and DID break a leg.

Katz you are just Glowing in this video. Your enthusiasm is infectitous as you had me all smiles. Good luck!

  • wow! another breaking leg story!! dang! I thought these were urban legands.

  • Re: falling sets - my closest friend, who eventually became a director, was acting in a play when the set came down around her. She kept it together, because the show must go on, and she got a huge ovation at the end. So, even if everything falls apart, it'll be ok. Break a leg, hon!

  • LOLOLOL!!! now that's a story I have to retell at work!!

  • Like GoddnRunn, I chose comfort, but I've paid for it with stress. Now I'm at the part of my life where I'm re-thinking and considering chucking it all. Good for you for making the choice that felt right to you! You do look faaaaabulous, because your face can barely contain your smile!

  • Thanks for the props!! Do not knock your self nor worry about choosing comfort. Everytime I have to struggle to get rent I feel a tinge of regret. but its not necessarily regret choosing my career path. but that I wasn't lucky enough to find a profession that I adore which pays decent money.

  • p.s.: you look faaaabulous, dahling!

  • why TThhhhannnk you!

  • Break a keg, or as they say here in France in such circumstances, "merde". Best opening night fuckup I know of: director friend's in Montreal leading man arrested for very major credit card fraud a few hours before curtain up. (Later convicted, then deported to US.) Friend had to step in himself, still got huzzahs. Beginning of his more serious acting career!

  • LOLOLOL!!! we had a guy get stuck in Mexico and had to bribe his way back over the border. Made it with only five minutes to spare...

  • Guy I knew (photojournalist) claimed he got drugged, robbed and stripped naked in China. Crossed border into Hong Kong wearing only an blanket given him by Chinese army. "No nothing to declare... or brag about, at least."

  • BIEW! I heart katz20two!

  • *SMOOCH!*

  • congrats sweety.... its better to do something you really love then to make money doing something you hate... is how i look at it.... break a leg..... everything will be great....

  • Katz- you sounded/looked so excited about this, that I got excited for you too! I will pray that your theatre production thingee goes well and no set falls apart. :)

  • It will go well. Break a leg!

  • yes, i love your positive attitude. You seem like you would be a great person to 'chill' with.

  • Katz, you have such a wonderful positive attitude and so much zany creativity. How could your show be anything but truely marvelous? Luv Ya, Babe! ~Skipa

  • *SMOOCH!!*

  • Wow! All the best to you. By the way, it isn't "just" theater. Theater is a wonderful and expressive art; very collabrative. It is WAY better than television and, in some cases, film.

  • LOL!! you are exactly right... I think I was confusing it with a "just for theatre" meaning that I don't know anything about TV or film. I find theatre is so different than TV and Film that its hard to compare the two... both have really good productions and both can have bad ones. but yes. the live feeling to it does give it a little more intimate feel that I love.

  • I'd tell you "break a leg" but shortly after my last audition was when it happened to me, so I'm not sure about the safety of that statement :-P

    Very exciting news! Blessings! VK

  • oh my... well I can honestly say you are the first person from whom I've heard first hand of actually doing that!!! I'll have to pass it around the crew boys... they always said that was an urban legend ;) Thanks for the well wishes!!

  • I also faced a similar decision to you about the theatre when I was a lot younger. I gave up a career in theatre and television for a more "profitable" career. What I gained was comfort. What I lost was colour. Too afraid to dare to think too much about whether I made the "right" choice or not....

Back in Australia, instead of "break a leg", we would have said "Chookas", so Chookas! Hals und Beinbruch! Fall down backwards!

  • Chookas!!! how cool!!! I'll have to use that one out here! Thanks so so much!

and really, who am I to say whether comfort or colour is right or wrong... there are those days I also do not dare to think too much about whether giving up comfort and being in a constant financial struggle way of living because of my choice is also the "right choice".

  • Respect to you for taking the leap into the job you want......as the saying goes "Find a job you love..and you will never work another day in your life".

    Love and good vibes :-)

  • *HUGS* thanks!

  • hey sweetypops i can't watch this til i get home so i don't quite know what you are nervous over, but from the comments and stuff i kind of gather that there is some kind of play going on? anyway, whatever it is, break a leg! x

  • good luck i know how it goes i did a lot of what your doing for highschool productions. its so much fun but opening night can be hell. hopefully you dont have too many set changes to worry about. and as they say in the acting productions. Break a leg.

  • money = headaches and stress! of course it's nice to know the electric is not going to be cut whhen temps hit 100! anyway, hope it goes well.. can't wait to hear about it!

  • 100 degrees!!! tell me about it!!! dang it's been crazy hot lately!! thanks so much!!! I'll be sure to let everyone know if the wall on my set falls down *panic* :)

  • Good luck. :)

  • Awesome!! Break a leg!! Break 2! Its nice to hear a little bit about you.

  • Best of luck to you! Hope the shows go great! :) and good on you for choosing happiness over $$$'s

  • Good Luck!

  • Hey I have a decent job that pays the bills and supports my theatre and film making habit, I mean career. Living doing what you want to do is indescribable!

  • yes. sooo true. making the sacrifice of money for loving your job... habit... career... is well worth it in the long run. After my decision, I have never looked back and regret nothing. I've been very lucky.
