@FawxNewbz the blond bully name ethel hallow is definitely draco. I would say mildred is more of a neville longbottom sort. and hardbroom is snape, but also i would say she is mcgonagall. Stern, intelligent, serious, and always at dumbledore's back. and Miss Cackle is obviously Dumbledore.

I also remember watching this on Disney channel so long ago, really wish current Disney showed stuff like this again(eventually HBO picked up the show several years back from what I remember) I remember it coming on for at least 3 or 4 years straight. I always really looked forward to it every year around Halloween. I just now realized that Fairuza Balk was not the same actress as the one who replaced her character in the show. I liked them both, and thought they both did a good job in the role.

I love this movie!!!! I Missed it so much!!!! But poor Fairuza, you could tell this was filmed in the UK because when they are using the pond weed in the potion she says "Throw in the lot." You could tell that was scripted because Americans NEVER say that. So it was unnatural for her almost lol

@Patrick19833 Actually, it was airing on HBO for a while, and apparently USA. I guess before that, it originally showed up on ITV in 1986. It showed up on The Disney Channel every year as a Halloween special until the late 1990s. That movie 'The Witches' showed up as well, around the same time. That's interesting.
