when you land after the jump you are jerking on his mouth. by running away he is telling you that he doesn't like that. try working on your balance over the jumps and you won't jerk on his mouth as much.
all u crap heads who are like 'you shouldnt ride' 'you yank on the horses mouth' hellooo its a stallion how about we watch u on that horse u would have probally gone shit and fell of as u guys think your amazing some people like this person havet 2 bring horses up teach them new stuff. did she fall of no?.she was pulling on his mouth to slow him up unlike u lot who would let the horse run and trip on a pole or knock the fence over. she probally did it again and done it fine.Horses have momments.
the yard im at has a stallion and hes honestly the least scary horse up there. even around mares he's the laziest thing you've ever seen, you need a crop to get him to go anywhere. people stereotype stallions as being these crazy out of control horses that are terrifying to ride but thats not true? it would also help if she wasnt trying to pull the bit right the way back through his head gs! let him go forward instead of pulling him back. i swear some people should not be allowed on horses.
Alright honestly people... She was riding a stallion. It's super scary i'v ridden one and he probably got over excited with her over the jumps and she got nervous as any human being would and held tight slightly pulling back! I know i'v done it MANY times. Dont get me rong everyone has done it, were not all frekin perfect. Never judge a video or anybody you dont know. Leave it :I You guys are just all jerks, like seriously, think about it. It happens once and you act like ass holes over it...
@ilovelady7 Okay your ride a stallion that over jumps and feels good. It's not her fault and it's not his. Theres day when a horse feels good! There wild big pound animals with tiny brains! They aint gonna act perfect especilly when it's a stallion. Quit it.
@cheweyischewey Okay look it up. There not going to be the smartest things out there. They get goofy and dont know there size ;) Look whos talking... Your being soo rude to her. Get a life.
@thesaddlebredchick i've ridden ponies that ACT like theyre stallions, and i HAVE ridden fresh horses and ponies. my old pony was high strung EVERYDAY! the only ways i fell off of her was because she reared, and once flipped over. try riding that mare!!!!!!!!
..... im pretty sure this is a ripped video because i have seen it before with a different title. ( it was something like, andiluasian stallion jumping for the first time or something like that) I could be wrong and if i am, sorry; but im pretty other wise.
he's not "out of control". You're still on and he didn't jump the fence. You yanked him in the mouth on the last jump, and although your hand move as if to do a neck-release, it's not enough so he can't extend his neck over the jump.
i hope this will help you to improve for next time:-
if your horse is going to fast, dont pull on his reigns.... it'll just make your horse worse as he will be confused whether to carry on or not -here is what to do- give your horse the reigns to free him a bit more and talk to him in a soothing voice.....this will help!! xox
also try to have an upright position with your shoulders back........ if he lifts his head up give him the reigns!!!
first of all people dont be so cruel yes her hands might gob now and then but dont be so hateful she probably diddnt realise she did it secondly i use a neck strap my life line coz i am a nervouse jumper so i dont gob him i hold onto it with my inside rein works wonders give it a go xx
you need to learn how to jump correctly before someone lets you on their nice horse again. leg ON, heel DOWN, hands DOWN, let go of the death grip you have on his face and move WITH the horse over the fence, from your leg UP
you caught him on the back after practically every fence, probably why he went insane. Try grabbing mane (and jumping smaller fences) until you have better control of your body over fences
Stop being so rude. She probably just made a small beginner mistake. It said he was a stallion, stallions are crazy and he probably saw a mare. The only thing you think when your horse is going crazy is 'crap, he's freaking out' The first thing you do when your horse is doing this is to try and grab something the reins were right in her hands. He is very beautiful.
Sorry but that isnt out of control! if you werent yanking his mouth so much before and after the jump maybe that wouldnt of happened. Work on keeping you hands still and giving your horse a little rein it wont hurt! As other people have said aswell try taking some of the mane to control your hands. Good riding considering though!:D
If you take mane before he jumps you'll be ok and if you actually stayed up you wouldn't hit him in the back or the mouth and he wouldn't have told you after those jumps that you were hurting him.
@peppiluv1 that's an andalucian I think, they are extremely sensitive regarding bit and reins, don't yank him, learn to use your legs more, and grab mane if you can't trust your legs.
@Juanucho13b Learn to think before you speak. It's a stallion! He over jumps at the fact he like her and has fun with her! She of course as any human would and gets bounced up like i have had done plenty of times and humans reflexses are pull back! Maybe too far back but he over jumped so that of course went back farther. Leave her alone. It was a tiny mistake :I
learn to keep your hands still and learn to jump without yanking his mouth bless and out of control ITS A STALLION if your that concerned dont ride a stallion !
yeah...the only reason it mightve seemed like you were out of control is because your reins were too long and over the fences your leg slid back so it hit him in the side which is why he would get mad after the jump and then cuz you had no contact you would feel out of control. he wasnt being bad though...he's a nice horse
First of all if thats what yoy call "out of cobtrol" you would hate to be me secendly id do that to if my mouth was being yanked on constanly.... WOW
@englishcowgirl98 I'd like to see you jump a stallion then. He was feeling good! It cant be fixed! And you cant go hm i'll just sit back and put my hands down so i wont yank him! It's not that easy :I
out of control stallion? where? you should ride some of the horses ive ridden then your stallion will b normal compared to them, but in ur defence u didnt yank, jab, hit ur horses mouth if they look properly or true horse riders they will notice its actually the horse yankin u ready to do what he done, and before any1 decides to slag me off i started riding at the age of 5/6 im now 23 i have a horse & have ridden 2 many to remember from the calmest to the naughtest from the young to the old
Wow this horse is beautiful! What breed is he/she? And to all those that are saying you yanked it in the mouth, they are obviously just jealous because they can't do it themselves!
to all you stupid idiots i cant see once where she has "yanked" or "pulled" the horse mouth so SHUT UP! the horse looks like it got excited! thats about it! i know when my horse gets excited i hand on for all dear life! cause she does exactly the same thing! so shut up you dont know what your going on about! WHY DONT YOU GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU GO ACUSSING SOMEONE OF SOMTHING THEY DIDNT DO, MOTHER FUCKERS.
this is NOT out of control!!! its bc u were ripping that poor horses mouth out and it HURTS. stop trying to get attention bc he was not out of control, and get over it!!!
just because it is a stallion doesn't mean it is naturally naughty, i know plenty of well behaved stallions, they just need to be trained right! Anyway, it's not the horses fault in this it is the riders she is yanking on the reins like there is no tomorrow, she should stick to quiet school horses and lots of flatwork and poles before even thinking of jumping!
How come no one ever just leaves the video alone when they post it? Every video on here is slowed to down or edited in some way, just show it normal speed without the pauses.
my mom had a off the trak stallion tb. and i have a x show stallion twh but thows 2 horses where/are the best horses we have had/have sum times he asks like he is a mare thes is a video of my stallion tc
Awesome...fantastic beautiful horse. It looks like he was enjoying himself. Ignore the negative comments. You and your horse look great and I hope that you both never lose the thrill of life.
oh please, horse was just fresh, hardly harsh at all. all the dumb poor horse comments are obviously from people who just stare at theirs in the field
i ride a horse a bit like that, a lipizanner who gets excited when jumping, but i controle his speed just with my back othewise if i touch the reins he goes..... out of controle!
Ok, I think the reason she was pulling on his face was BECAUSE he was acting up??? You're not perfect either, so don't go around thinking it people. She has an instructor there with her, let her be the judge.
Some horses just love jumping and get hyper about it, I can think of famous show jumpers who buck and kick out of sheer exuberance during and after taking a jump. This guy seems in the same category, looks like he's playful.
@TheEpicFiasco haha yea mines doesnt buck in turnout just rolls in everything dirty available and likes to do an extended trot to show off in front off in front of all the other horses.
I agree totaly with the ladies above me Foxsong and TheFreddie1975! You are just not experienced enough yet i think to jump that high im mean your heels weren't down and you barely wen in 2point and when ya did you were al the way up is neck. Por litle guy. And he was not misbehainving most behavior problems are caused y the owner or rider. Beautiful horse though and Im not trying to be mean just inform you!
@RoseM4357 Sorry you feel that way. Its not your vid and im just trying to help her out Im a really nice person just trying to get her even better! So I truly dont care what you say,
Just a tip if you want the horse to slow down use your seat and body. Plus instead of pulling with two reins. Pull with one. Plant the other rein on the horses neck
Stop critisizing guys. She did amazing, and that horse may have been new. Maybe another horse LET her plus it's mouth like that. Calm down. She didn't do much wrong.
That's not an out of control horse. He just doesn't like the rider bumping and flapping around on his back. Sorry but its the truth. He is a completely gorgeous horse though.
you need to RELEASE, quiet your hands alot, and get control of your upper body and legs. SOmeone of your level shouldn't be jumping a horse that bucks if you do something wrong.
@Foxsong It's amazing how RUDE people can be when they are commenting. I doubt she posted this video to be torn apart. Grow Up!! Everyone has to start somewhere! I doubt that you always have or currently ride perfectly.
No that is an 'ouch' reaction and I would agree - probably didn't like being pulled in the mouth over the last obstacle - shame as the first part was perfect.
no wonder, you seem to be pulling hsi back teeth out every time he lands, look at 0:10 and 0:12 maybe you're not like this all the time and maybe hes just frisky but i'm just suggesting you watch when you bring your hands back, keep em low and soft
He wasn't bucking, he was crow hopping - this video was titled much more exciting than it ever was/could be. Be a little softer on his mouth/learn to handle the jumps and your reins and he might not have done that.
stallions! crazy lil things really, but they can be trained to be perfect horses just as good as a normal horse they aren't any different after all! beautiful stallion by the way!
oh come on !!! horse "Out of control " ??? this is some childish bucking !!! he's just playing. Start jumping with a thoroughbred that jus came out of the races, you get into some serious shit when they decide they want to run wild like back in the races ! ;)
WOW harsh comments, I guess we all can't be as perfect as the people leaving the comments???
Everyone wanting to jump to the conclusion that the horse was riled up about her hands, possibly he was ok with her flaws and was just exciteable anyways???? He didn't refuse, or slam to a halt, or balk, he got excited.... it happens even with perfect riders.
@huntseateq Yes the rider needs work and I wouldn't have her continue riding that horse, but I have been teaching and training long enough to know that a horse can do these things even with a perfect rider. He may have done the same thing even if she had been perfect. A person experienced with feisty horses doesn't ASSUME its all about the rider. I have seen many horses do the same thing free jumping, as well as under highly educated and skilled riders.
when you land after the jump you are jerking on his mouth. by running away he is telling you that he doesn't like that. try working on your balance over the jumps and you won't jerk on his mouth as much.

Avrilrules100 7 months ago 68
@Avrilrules100 Her riding actually isn't that bad. The horse just seems young. But no, neither are really out of control.
RegalStar12 5 months ago
Dint ever yank a horses mouth when your jumping just go with it even if the mare or gelding I'd taking of
gabbyemartin09 7 months ago
He was angry coz u yanked him in the mouth after EVERY jump . So please, hold the mane if u cant jump .
HannuGirl10 7 months ago
Just a tip if you want the horse to slow down use your seat and body. Plus instead of pulling with two reins. Pull with one. Plant the other rein on the horses neck
TheArmadillo17 7 months ago
any horse is gonna do that when ur yanking on his mouth over the jumps

UmrilovaOstrovskaya 7 months ago
Stop critisizing guys. She did amazing, and that horse may have been new. Maybe another horse LET her plus it's mouth like that. Calm down. She didn't do much wrong.
TheMoemoe1227 8 months ago
i say that stallion will be an amazing jumper in years to come :)
iloveCasperDelight 8 months ago
@FoxSong. You are completely right with her position.
I suggest whoever the rider is soaks up all these tips and the advice. That poor stallion still puts up with it... What a saint ):
saddleclub17 8 months ago
Is it always like that when you jump :D ?
jansku86 8 months ago
That's not an out of control horse. He just doesn't like the rider bumping and flapping around on his back. Sorry but its the truth. He is a completely gorgeous horse though.
MissHorselover134 8 months ago
I'd refused if were that horse. And its not just the hand jerking its the bumping on the horse's back that bugs me.

Thats not an out of control stallion thats an out of control rider!
ninilein1505 8 months ago
If this is your idea of an out of control horse, let alone stallion, I'm terrified for you.
Gorgeous boy though.
razorsharpbubble 8 months ago 32
you need to RELEASE, quiet your hands alot, and get control of your upper body and legs. SOmeone of your level shouldn't be jumping a horse that bucks if you do something wrong.
ILOVEHORSESOMG 8 months ago
@Foxsong It's amazing how RUDE people can be when they are commenting. I doubt she posted this video to be torn apart. Grow Up!! Everyone has to start somewhere! I doubt that you always have or currently ride perfectly.

No that is an 'ouch' reaction and I would agree - probably didn't like being pulled in the mouth over the last obstacle - shame as the first part was perfect.
larabroadhurst 9 months ago
no wonder, you seem to be pulling hsi back teeth out every time he lands, look at 0:10 and 0:12 maybe you're not like this all the time and maybe hes just frisky but i'm just suggesting you watch when you bring your hands back, keep em low and soft
BeaverShrew 9 months ago
That's what my little stallion does and I JUST started jumping!

He wasn't bucking, he was crow hopping - this video was titled much more exciting than it ever was/could be. Be a little softer on his mouth/learn to handle the jumps and your reins and he might not have done that.
modernshewolf 9 months ago
@modernshewolf Agree. Bucking is more.. head down, ass up! She's holding his head up by being rough with his mouth.
BunPai 9 months ago
dumb
horseloverforever992 9 months ago
He's a spirited little boy, thats or damn sure. xD Try to be a little softer on his mouth, he'll thank you for it.

4everlolie 9 months ago
stallions! crazy lil things really, but they can be trained to be perfect horses just as good as a normal horse they aren't any different after all! beautiful stallion by the way!
ogabumwaggle 9 months ago
if you're going to ride a stallion, you've got to be prepared for that sort of thing. also, that wasn't even bad!!
stallions get excited. live with it.
TheNejinator 9 months ago
it wasn't bad i'd be off that stallion in a half second

Carelesscontrol 10 months ago
You need to have a lot more control to even be jumping. And I would buck if I was a horse that got my mouth yanked on every time I jump.
theslydude 10 months ago
waow... His beautiful !!
MilloveDK 10 months ago
oh come on !!! horse "Out of control " ??? this is some childish bucking !!! he's just playing. Start jumping with a thoroughbred that jus came out of the races, you get into some serious shit when they decide they want to run wild like back in the races ! ;)
mauritiancitizen 10 months ago
i would throw u on the ground if i were that stallion with a bad rider on my back
jalwhinny27 10 months ago

4everlolie 10 months ago
WOW harsh comments, I guess we all can't be as perfect as the people leaving the comments???
Everyone wanting to jump to the conclusion that the horse was riled up about her hands, possibly he was ok with her flaws and was just exciteable anyways???? He didn't refuse, or slam to a halt, or balk, he got excited.... it happens even with perfect riders.
jmdnarri 10 months ago 32
@jmdnarri Sorry but the horse was very obviously reacting to the rider's hands - any one with any knowledge could see that
huntseateq 6 months ago
@huntseateq Yes the rider needs work and I wouldn't have her continue riding that horse, but I have been teaching and training long enough to know that a horse can do these things even with a perfect rider. He may have done the same thing even if she had been perfect. A person experienced with feisty horses doesn't ASSUME its all about the rider. I have seen many horses do the same thing free jumping, as well as under highly educated and skilled riders.
