I'm just going to say this here, but comics, cartoons and even anime and manga, are great story telling formats. In fact, I know plenty of comics/manga that have deep engaging story lines. In fact one (western) comic has one of the most moving story lines I've ever seen. Having said that... I am not a big fan of Naruto. I started it when I was 14 (About five years ago) and have grown to dislike it... It is not as good I remember it. Although this opening is pretty nice and the song is lovely.

People may say anime is just stupid but it really isn't. Surprisingly i have learned things from watching anime..and some... more inappropriate things that should be left unsaid. But seriously, the personalities that go into these characters, you really get attached to them and some a bit more if ya know what i'm sayin (cough.Hinata.cough). Having a hobby isn't something you should get beat up over, Naruto is a really deep anime that i truly love and something i wish to keep in my heart 4ever!
