  • i jus twent to your website, it shows the 13th annual shoot has been cancelled because you lost your land to shoot on. that's no good, what are you guys gonna do about it ?

  • hay the thompson shots a .45cal not the .50 you should fix that

  • The sidearm look more like a .45 colt because of its shape.

  • @brainiac3397

the 380 comment was a joke, guys. People who know me are aware of how much I detest the .380 round.

    It's a Colt 1911 Series 70 .45 ACP on my hip.

  • lol i was just bustin balls cause that guy called the 45 on your hip a 380. no disrespect . just fun

  • nice 380

  • @MediaMisDirected It's not a .380. Thompsons are .45 ACP

  • Damn, thats some good recoil control even for bursts on a Thompson.

  • Thompsons are notoriously heavy, and you're only shooting a pistol caliber (albeit .45 acp) from the shoulder.

  • only in america ;)

  • Always great to see a guy shooting a Thompson. However he is blocking the view of that great halftrack. I don't think that it is a .45 on his hip, it looks like a .380 to me

  • Anyone who knows me, or has taken my CCW class, knows that's most certainly NOT a .380. Sheesh.

    1911a1 on my hip, 24/7/365

  • Good man. Accept no substitute.

  • Is it legal to own a Thompson? I thought private ownership of fully automatic firearms was illegal?

  • wow cod waw really captured the gun firing sounds

  • In addition to, and as importantly, the USA had the Lend Lease program in which we sent many Thompsons to the British in WW2. We also sent them to Russia. Those were never used, and were recently discovered in Russia. They were in new condition. The British certainly did use theirs. One giveaway on the British Lend Lease Tommys is the sling swivel on the left side of the vertical foregrip on the gun. Many of them also said "Tommy Gun" on the receiver.

  • why do british and australians use tommy in WW2

  • Simple: British gun control, which wasn't even in full swing yet, had CRIPPLED their firearms industry. In fact, did you know that the Brits didn't have enough arms to supply their home defense "troops" (old men, mostly) with rifles? U.S. citizens sent privately owned small arms to Britain to help out.

The lesson: DO NOT DISARM CITIZENS!

  • thats why british troops used american Tommys

  • but...i thought that the brits and the canadian forces used the sten submachine gun!

  • In later years yes. However, I knew a Canadian WW2 vet who went to Italy and Holland, and he was a Tommy gun man, from start to finish.

    Eat your Heart Out.

  • my kind of shooting, a tommy in hand and a

    .45 on your hip!

  • No WONDER my shoulder didn't feel sore!!

Who was suggesting it is chambered in .50?
