I have been playing the flute for almost 8 years and am playing this piece for my senior examination for music. It takes an enormous amount of breath control and support to continuously change from the lower octave to the the higher and stay there. Considering you are playing semi quavers, it makes it doubly hard. Great work

I said that the first time i saw it too =P I'm going on 5 years and it does take some practice, but once you get your fingers around the notes, and your brain around the key signature (that took me a while, i hate sharps =P) it's not too difficult. i'd suggest you work on it. i'm sure you can figure it out and it's a good challenge. =]

for those of you who don't know much about the flute, I'll let you know that this is more amazing than you think. Playing a flute consistently in it's lower register requires massive amounts of airflow to keep it from running flat. In order to stay on pitch as well as she did, it means that in some places these four had to be exhaling at a near constant rate for close to 20 seconds.

Phenomenal lung capacity, amazing breath control. Absolutely well done. All four of you.
