You can even hear the killer mock the cop by repeating his words "I'm in fear for my life".
I could never become a "good" cop after watching this. I'd shoot the moment the suspect engages with me. I'd shoot the moment the suspect does not comply and then say in the report "he put his hands in his pockets despite my warning".
I can't help but think this incident is partly due to the army not caring for the vets. Vet or no vet, the cop should have shot him.

I think no matter if you are a vet or not, breaking the law is still breaking the law. Can any vet use their vet status as an excuse to speed? Can any vet use their vet status as an excuse to resist a police officers orders? I mean, if the cop is doing something illegal, ok, but if he is simply following procedures, then they have no right to fight the cops let alone kill them. The cop may have shot first for self defense, but the vet killed in cold blood.
