To make things clearer, video games we're not supposed to be "real". No matter how much that gun recoils or how little bullets it takes to kill your avatar in game, its never gonna be real. I hate it when people bash the fantasy genre because they want each and every game, no matter the genre, to be as "realistic" as call of duty. Realism does not apply to all genre of games, nor is it necessary.

Hell a remake would be awesome too. Just a remake, as sequels tend to change what the units look like. And i like them the way they are. This game is unique in the fantasy genre of RTS in that it doesn't feature the usual orcs and elves stereotype. Its a waste to abandon this concept. Their take on the Mayan "Ancient Astronaut" theory with the Cuotl just blew my mind. Too bad most people are biased on their opinion of the game due to the fact that they wanted another Rise of Nations.

@Reaper1722 I don't believe in remakes. It's like a cheap and dirty way to profit... Besides, no RTS is complete without at least 1 expansion pack and lots of updates and patches. It would even be a bonus if there comes a sequel for this game. But for now, we can only hope :/

I only had problems with the magical creatures. I LOVED the Vinci units, they were so cool. :D Don't get me wrong, I like this game, and it is a nice refreshment to have a fantasy world, I just say that I only like the Vinci units.

Should I get this or Rise of Nations? Some off my favorite Strategy games include CNC Generals, CNC3, Civ 4 BTS, World In Conflict, Star WArs Galactic Battlegrounds, and Warcraft3. Both look pretty good and Rise of Nations kinda gives me a Civ 3 or Civ 4 feel while Rise of Legends kinda gives me a CNC + Warcraft3 + awesome feeling.

this game has great visuals, sound and the units and races are very imaginative, but the gameplay isn't too fantastic and the campaign mode is a bit of a letdown. all in all I think it could have been better.

I tried Disabling firewalls on all computers, re-installing all games on 3 computers, praying, and cussing. none seem to work. A guy told me I should just reformat all computers and leave that the only game installed. Does not seem worth it just for that.
