please halp me anyone, my drive can read cds fine but if you put dvds of any kind on it nothing happens and when i open explorer and click my drive its empty pls help guys...
lol ok you tell me exactly how you are going to fit a drivechip and the flatmii into the wii and close it without any problems? You are a tard if you think you can fit all that extra stuff into it.
What everybody fails to realize with the Flatmii is that is completely disconnects your DVD drive in your wii, which means you will never be able to play a game directly through your wii ever again, unless you take Flatmii out. AKA LAME!!!
The flat cable that is installed looks to be long enough to go completely around the drive, over the top. Installing the way the video shows could allow the cable to open the connector.

What YOU don't realize is you don't have a clue. This is completely false. From the user guide:
"The combo mode uses the wii dvd drive just as a original wii .You activate this
mode when opening/closing the flatmii's PC software or by unplugging the
flatmii usb cable from your pc ,use this mode to play your original wii/gamecube
discs or dvd backups when your wii has a installed chip."
IE, if you disconnect the usb from the Wii, it behaves normally. Do some research before you call it lame.

so the small 4pins wire does nothing?
Odb718 3 years ago
The other wire goes to a usb device that plugs into a computer. That's what feeds the data to it. (From an ISO on the computer's hard drive.)
