Besides the overspin, the split face allows you to putt from the collar and through small amounts off rough. The putter has been proven through independent labs to never skip or skid, no matter how the ball is struck....
I'm sorry Chuck but a TRUE Overspin Technology is called Airborne Overspin . It launches the ball off a positive lofted face in the air & turns it over 47 degrees before it hits the ground the first time so it is rolling in the direction it was hit. It does not need the ground to produce the roll. What the Medicus putter does is have the ball come off the face static, no backspin nor any overspin, the ground is what causes it to roll over. Can you say, 'Center of Percussion'? Didn't think so.
