growing up we had quite a collection of these records, some are so badly worn you cant play them any more. hard as I try to replace its like a needle in a hay stack, any suggestions from the collectors out there would be helpfull.
Like Gateway Parade of Hits and Nashville's Hit Records label, Promenade was a budget label in the 50's & 60's that did cover versions of popular hits. Some, like this by the Melon Sisters, were actually good and true to the original version, while others paled by comparison. In most cases the artists used fictional names.
The Tune Weavers made the chart hit of this, in 1957.

Thanks for sharing! I own a Promendade record of the Music Man with a blue label. It's pretty good, a bit more fun than the original play.
