We (the US) wouldn't be a pushover, but the Russians are a hard people. How they train their military is far more brutal of a conditioning than ours. I had a friend who just went through basic, and they said he could keep his cell phone through the whole thing. Cell phones? These guys are almost grown men learning to be killers, and you're letting them text their parents every night? C'mon.

Hopefully it never comes to that, and certainly hopeful it never goes nuclear.
