And there's also the fact that not everything is useful, or people don't think its useful. Take a look at Benjamin Franklin. The guy supposedly has about 2000 patents, yet only a handful are still useful today.

it's a high quality 3D scanner, that has a way higher resolution than industrial 3D scanners before the kinect at a fraction of the cost...

but taking these 3D Data and using them in a game is quite complicated and the software is still evolving and will become greater in the future, trust me

@saehian Dumbass they do, Skeletal imaging software is much more advanced than the motion sensing software you are thinking of and is something microsoft have been working on for about a decade. The Natal Kinect hardware is mind boggling to say the least.

They put ratings on washers how much water and electricity it uses. I think they also do that for refrigerators to. Game sensing movement okay but why have it reverse his action isn't that confusing? I had ski game with feet controlers and looked like you were heading toward slopes not away from them. Think they had a dancing game with foot sensors also. This is better than setting in chair only exercising your hands and fingers as most video games do.

I disagree, for serious nerds like myself actually using your own movements to fight in the middle of a battlefield in real time would be amazing for me and alot of other people. Project Natal is the first step to actually putting you in the world of an RPG, or a first person shooter, or whatever else comes to mind. Obviously it won't work for all types of games. But imagine an MMO with something like project Natal. I see a great future for games.
