It happened right before "The Greatest Tragedy in Sports" was about to receive 1,000,000 views. The video was receiving more and more views each day and could have easily been in the top 100 sports videos of all time. It's an hour long series that deals with game 6, 2002.
as a laker fan i admit that series was fixed for us to win. the kings really did own us that year but david stern bailed us (lakers) out of trouble against another superior team (kings).

phil jackson also admitted game 6 was fishy but then also reffered to the kings getting away with webber's moving screen on bibby's game winner in game 5. therefore it goes even. sure the league fixed game 6, but the refs made a mistake in game 5 that costed the lakers that game. so lakers win game 5, take 3-2 lead, then kings win game 6....so lakers still win in 7!! how fucking hard is it for u kings fags to understand that???
That was not a mistake at the end of game 5 you idiot. Chris Webber gave a legal screen and Fisher flopped on the ground like he always does. It was not a foul, it was a flop. Fisher just didn't get away with it in that game like Horry, Fox, and FIsher got away with that entire series and season. Plus, Bibby hit the shot and the Kings earned the victory. They played their way to a victory. The Lakers were given a victory in game 6. The Kings dominated the entire series. Game 4 was horrible also.

phil jackson also admitted game 6 was fishy but then also reffered to the kings getting away with webber's moving screen on bibby's game winner in game 5. therefore it goes even. sure the league fixed game 6, but the refs made a mistake in game 5 that costed the lakers that game. so lakers win game 5, take 3-2 lead, then kings win game 6....so lakers still win in 7!! how fucking hard is it for u kings fags to understand that???

That was not a mistake at the end of game 5 you idiot. Chris Webber gave a legal screen and Fisher flopped on the ground like he always does. It was not a foul, it was a flop. Fisher just didn't get away with it in that game like Horry, Fox, and FIsher got away with that entire series and season. Plus, Bibby hit the shot and the Kings earned the victory. They played their way to a victory. The Lakers were given a victory in game 6. The Kings dominated the entire series. Game 4 was horrible also.

@KillaInstinct24: That 00 team was a luck team. Game 7 of the Blazer series was handed to them by the officials just like the King series was. In the fourth quarter, the officials overlooked several illegal defenses that the Lakers had. So, don't tell people to grow up to cover up the truth.
Oh, and BTW, they wouldn't have whooped the Bucks in 01. They really didn't dominate the Sixers that year, and that was the worst team in Finals history.

That's because the Celtics were fouling I admit a few were iffy but the Celtics by the 4th quarter were basically watching the game. If they learned how to rebound they would have won but 15 second chances in two possessions doesn't help their chances of winning. Besides Cs had more fts in the series as whole. Ray Allen shot worse than Kobe in game 7 so do blame Ray. Oh and while game 6 was rigged for LA game 5 was rigged for the Kings.

I respect Nader's consumer advocacy, but I'm afraid it may border on statism. Nader wants gov't intervention for all this stuff and a bunch of new gov't agencies and programs, but will it be too much?
Plus, where does Nader ever say anything about gay marriage, the right to assisted suicide, abortion rights, etc.? Most of the time he just talks about corporations and their influence on our lives but not much about social issues that matter to real people.

I agree with Aquafier 102. Also nbaisfixed08, Nader didn't "help Bush win in 2000", but way to believe a lie perpetuated by the two party dictatorship! If I HAD known of Nader in 2000 I at least would have voted, instead of being turned off from the political scene completely. So if your going to cry me a river and must blame someone, blame Gore for being a lame politician and letting the neocons steal the election.

I dont disagree completely. Gore was lame. Do you really think, however, that any person who voted for nader would have voted for bush? That would be ridiculous. It's far less ridiculous to think a nader voter would be a gore voter if they had just 2 choices. Some maybe would have stayed home otherwise, but in a close and likely rigged election, nader certainly didnt help.

Nader certainly did not help but crappy voting equipment, lazy vote tabulators who refused to do their jobs, over 20,000 people being told not to vote b/c they names similar to felons and a stupid ballot were the cause. Then a BS Supreme Court move sealed it.

Using another sports reference, Jim Hightower says political candidates should dress as race car drivers to - with logos of their sponsors all over their clothing. Imagine seeing McCain and Obama with their various Wall Street, weapons manufacturer and pharmaceutical company logos all over them. You will see little difference. Vote Nader!

Come. Obama's campaign is full of recently "converted former lobbyists" money, and the money is being bundled from other employees of lobbyist companies.

Yeah, he's got bundlers. Yeah, it's wrong. But a bundler is not a PAC, the vast majority of his funds come from individual donors, the majority of those from $200 donations or smaller, and he doesn't accept Political Action Committee money like John McCain. If anyone knows where the numbers in this video come from, let me know.

If one were to go to fec(dot)gov (the federal election commission) they could see that Sen. Obama doesn't take any PAC money at all. I'm interested where this video's numbers are from and if they're more reliable than a government source.

Start voting with your dollars. Get your music, movies, books, magazines, and newspapers from alternative media, independent studios, and small record labels. Sell/trade any DVDs and CDs you have from the big 6 media conglomerates. Don't use myspace or IGN which are owned by Fox. Don't even look at a trailer to their movies. Buy American-made products and not GMO products. Give up a little so your kids don't have to give up a lot.

How do you get that everyone that voted for Nader was a Democrat, and if people just had no other option, they would have voted Bush out? EVERYONE had the option to vote Bush out, except for the stolen votes via voter obstruction and Supreme Court rulings, but those had nothing to do with Nader. Go Nader!

Not true~ If it was, we wouldn't have to run a campaign on 99.9% volunteer effort! The Nader campaign has seen no handouts from anyone from either party! And there are NO corporate sponsors, either - why would they want to support a group of people that are totally anti-establishment and anti-corporate?

Who's to say that the volunteers or people who donated to his campaign aren't really republicans? If I were republican I'd donate to Nader's campaign to split the vote. Wtf, I'd even get republicans to support Hillary to run as an independent. That would really screw up the election, and McCain would win by a landslide! Republicans have the money they should do it.

It was a set up right from the start, it re-enforced the 2 party system and gave the worse president in US history a stolen election. Most likely every election from here on out will be copies of 2000 and 2004. Theres no way this is a democracy any more and the democrats have become as (or more) corrupted as the republicans! If nader runs against Obama he has my vote and SUPPORT for every sure!

Ralph is running in 2008! Hopefully the democrats won't pull thier legal lawsuit tactic like they did in 2004. I beleive the dems filed unlawful lawsuits in over 30 states that we filed for ballot access in. The Democrats did not want Americans to have the choice of voting for Ralph in 2004. Not a very democratic way to handle election season - by eliminating the competition with an Army of high-priced lawyers. Thomas Jefferson must have been rolling in his grave over this!

Some things really are not just opinion, if you look at the history and do the numbers. My opinion though, is that democrats circulate that story to repress true democratic choices, make people hostile to breaking out of the two party stranglehold.

At the end of the day it's about winning the election. Nader's campaign was based on a lie that there wasn't any difference between bush and gore. Does anybody today believe that gore would have been as bad as bush? Third party candidates always defeat their own purpose by drawing votes from the major candidate they are more closely alligned with politically. You obviously follow it very closely, so if im wrong then i apologize, but that's just how i see it.
