In the 20's, its shores were a haven for tough guys, gamblers, backsliders, cattle-rustlers, meat-mustlers, cheaters, crooks, creeps, cretins...! (picks up phone) HELLO?! No-- I AM calm!
"Money (That's What I Want)" was originally recorded by Barrett Strong and released in 1959 on Tamla (later Motown) Records. The songwriters were Berry Gordy (the founder of Tamla/Motown) and Janie Bradford.
The music keeps on coming here. Rockapella's new tune was excellant even though I don't know what it's based on it was still catchy. The extra keruffle they had with Greg was classic; every musicians dream to keep going without an encore. The tried it again with the chase but gave in to Greg. I don't know if the music was part of the clue or just another preformance; it was Greg's best musical preformance by far. The photo recon is great but as a different feel to it than the year before.
Greg did get to sing a few songs on the second "Carmen Sandiego" CD ("Carmen Sandiego: Out Of This World"), including the hilarious "Cake For Breakfast".

I like that they used the words Scoobie Doobie in place of the city during the musical clue.

Rockapella is so awesome I just hope they never do a parody of Gwen Stefani's Sweet Escape (I don't know how it would sound but the song annoys me)

I think that last bit before the phone rang was a spoof of Harvey Korman's list of synonyms for "bad guys" in "Blazing Saddles".
