  • You actually respect Hillary Clinton? You a smart guy, who like most Democrats I've met seems to fall right in line when they tell you to. I guess Obama and Clinton aren't running an empire. Or waging war, assassinating god knows how many Afghan wedding parties or Palestinians who don't all just die so their Israeli friends can keep jacking the land and blowing up Lebanon.

Seriously man. Who are you with?

  • Good message. I'd suggest, however, that Democratic voters who went for Nader in 2000 were either ignorant of or kidding themselves about the way the Electoral College works.

  • now how do we get the obama camp to see this

  • Well we were schmucks last night and lost we need to do a better job to get the word out and communicate more.

Let's hope we rebound and don't act like schmucks again in 2012.

  • Is the arm wagging a pathological disorder, or a way to ventilate his facial skin or ?....

schmucks ? I dunno...dreamers, utopists, unrealistic ?...very profoundly probable.

  • how can a video of a man sitting in a room talking for 2-3 minutes and be so interesting you dont look away? this guy should run for president! because a good president should just have sense and be energetic, the rest you have people for! keep up the good work!

  • OMFG!!! Somebody should've really showed this to Martha Coakley!!!

  • lol 1:45 confused look

  • haha you're the man

  • "obligatory overextended metaphor" I need a sign to hold up when I do this during real conversations... hilarious keep up the good work

  • i like when you talk about politics!

  • I can't believe i haven't gotten to do this yet-

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!

    stupid.

  • pwdn3d

  • EPIC FAIL PWND NEWBZOR! OBAMA FTW

  • On the same tack but in the very much longer term, don't forget that the GOP will be figuring out how to mount the longest smear campaign in US history IF Obama gets in the White House. Getting there is one thing...

I don't exactly see Obama as the 'complacent' type. He'll be firing on all cylinders so, yeah, let's try and keep up with him. So close...

  • Well said.

  • I absolutely love your POV... on everything really! Great job!

  • you are so intelligent and chill about politics....it's a good change

  • whoever the hell Forex07 is...really needs to shut up...and who's he calling you liberals, did he miss out on the fact that a bunch of republicans are actually going for Obama this time around

  • lol

  • Even though I don't agree with some you on some of your issues... you explain stuff perfectly. Back in 2000 the democrats expected the the democratic vote, but they didn't get much of it. And now the republicans expect to get it even though they're not even working for it. Not many republicans are happy with John McCain as the nominee. In fact, many democrats like him more than republicans do. Bah, anyway... I saw a few of your other videos too, perfectly said.. lol.

  • Hey isn't that an obligatory overextended analogy not a metaphor?

  • you act like voting for either candidate really matters. they both have the same agenda.

  • GODAMN! THANK YOU! anyone who really really truly thinks that their vote this Nov is gonna matter, man...i feel sorry for yo ass. you live in a dream world. Do you want Mac 'n cheese or cheese sauce with pasta? you'll be gettin the same shit...ENJOY! =)

  • hey bro...how'd you get so much soul in your voice?? preach!

  • Very true - and it would still be true if it had been the other way around and Hillary been successful in her bid. The Obama camp REALLY needs to see this and take it on board. Its interesting to see Barack touring the world like he's already in office - but he hasnt won yet and a lot can happen between now and November. Its not the foreign politicos who are voting...

  • ron paul?

  • see!

this is your problem, you try too hard and it will ultimately fuel your demise. please continue

  • Technically votes were stolen in florida when republicans used their "caging lists" to deny blacks their votes. Nader had a negligible impact on all this, but its better to discredit third party candidates than challenge the corrupt system head on, even for democrats. They benefit from all this in the long run just as much as repbulicans

  • Good message, let's just hope so of those schmucks, wake up and vote correctly.

  • ****some****

  • I agree 100%. I will subscribe. We need more people like you in our camp. I see too much F Hillary stuff in the blogasphere right now. No Democratic candidate can afford to disagree any segment of the party. Looking forward to more videos that make sense. No pressure....

  • Dam..... I have been a total schmuck. You are right I will be more understanding !!!!

  • Excellent! Not only are you cute as hell, but you have something positive to say. Love it Brother!

  • ALL I CAN SAY IS AMEN!!!

  • Thanks for coming out and saying this, as I think there's been a lot of hard feelings and open wounds caused by this prolonged primary season. Hopefully having people like you and others say we need to recognize the hurt, address it, and then move beyond it will help the entire party move forward.

Or you know we can cock this entire thing up all over again because if there's one things Democrats seem to have a fucking preternatural ability for, it's losing presidential elections.

  • Wow...you're really interesting...I mean, the way you use methapors and similies to explain politics. It's entertaining and comical. Bravo.

  • real insightful and articulate in a comical way

  • that's a fantastic mantra for any day and any year: 'Please let us not be shmucks....'

    another good one, illdoc

  • All three candidates are members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) this video is of their latest report-> /watch?v=4VllgsfG08I

how can anyone vote for any of the 3 candidates? and not become angry?

  • Once again you speak the truth. Now why cant other people intelligently talk about things and not start to yell and call people names?

    Keep up the good work!

  • I don't know if Hillary supporters who say they would vote for McCain can even be reasoned with. They seem more motivated by cult of personality and celebrity than by the issues. And I really want to scream that Bananarama song in their faces when she concedes: "Na na na na / hey hey / good bye!" But I won't, due to the good points you make in this video

  • this is just a show that comes about every 4 years, this government is a one party system disguised just to make people happy and keep on brainwashing people in this mass mind manipulation. now that america is getting dumber by the minute, it is alot easier for them to get the job done.these people do not want anyone who has critical thinking, they want america to be more concern with britney spears....just read the tabloids.

  • Vote John McCain 08

  • ok.. assuming all that is true, what is the solution?

  • The message of Ron Paul. People need to become educated and embrace the constitution and the things that this country used to stand for. I mean they destroyed Habeas Corpus and no one seemed to care! This country needs more than change, it needs a revolution.

  • If I were to judge Ron Paul by the content of the news letters he signs, writes and publishes under his name, I'd say he is probably a racist.

  • what a fool you are dclayton. That entire story was retracted and his name cleared. He went on national tv and discussed how he wasn't aware of it, his signature was an image recopied, and the editors were never approved for by him. Go to a rally and then say the man's a racist. he's the only one preaching equal freedoms and equal rights and equal distribution of government. Why don't you go watch some more foxnews

  • No, you.

  • do you read that off a paper? that jawn was a written.

  • Right, You Are!!

  • So, you're saying everything we need to know we learned from playing little league t-ball?

  • Straight forward. Well said. Us Obama folk should have nothing but respect for Hillary and her supporters. We're all in this together.

  • too late.. Tell Obama to cut the military budget and get out of the middle east.. still won't vote for the corporate choices

  • Ummm.... hate to break it to you, but the ONLY reason Bush won the 2004 election was by having the elections rigged in his favor... much like in 2000.

  • Good one. Have a lot of respect for Hillary also, the speech was good, although a little deceiving in my mind. Anyway, you make a good point.

  • playing dirty wins. we need to call Hillary supporters sore losers.

  • but she hasn't lost yet...lol

  • a smart person

  • word to Jay!

  • Obama/Clinton'08

  • Obama/Edwards '08

  • Come on girls lets get McSame!

  • I agree wholeheartedly about Gore basically handing his votes over to Nader. It's something more people really need to grasp.

I understand you're not defending Ralph Nader, but people like myself saw him as the only true alternative to Bush in 2000 (even though I wasn't able to vote at the time)... and in 2004.

It's really a breath of fresh air to have someone like Obama running for president. Let's hope we don't ruin it.

  • umm whoever posted "now how do we get the obama camp to see this", i think i just mistakenly deleted you.. my bad! please repost if you see this.

  • very true. good vid as always.

  • Too bad the brains that are wired to think so broadly aren't in the spots where they can do the most good. Too bad you ain't teachin' the youth of the world how to approach the landscape with a useful perspective. We need more of ya!

  • Very well said. Im glad I subbed.

  • "what we think and who we are are two separate things"

I've been using that hand gesture you invented quite successfully.

  • Let's never be schmucks. No matter what we think or who we support. Let's never be schmucks.

    Great insight!

  • what do u think of Obama being friends with a former Weather Underground member a.k.a Terrorist

by the way i am a illdoc fan no hater here

  • I'm not mad at that.. working at WBAI I have gotten to know lots of people who were down with that type of thing back in the day. They are generally regular folks who were sometimes naive and misguided in their younger days, and they'll usually be the first to say so.. the documentary that came out a few years ago about the Weathermen gives a pretty good perspective, I think. If Obama appointed the dude to his cabinet that might be iffy, but just having been friendly with him is no biggie IMO

  • nice answer your really well spoken but yea I see what your talking about but...if he see's eye to eye with his Weathermen friend and Reveron Wright I think we need to take a step back and see who we are looking at for president,Is he just trying to seperate himself from reveron Wright to please his voters and calm the media down or is he truthfully not seeing eye to eye with him,

    What Do You Think

  • I think this kind of "look at who his friends are" thing, is basically the same as the anti-communist witch trials that went on back in the day, which contrary to popular opinion were not simply McCarthy, but to a large degree supported by both Democrats & Republicans. In fact the campaign was initiated by Democrats. The Republicans just ran with it and out crazied them.

  • Too true. We can't just say: "the party will be united" we need to work for it too.

  • lmao!! it would be funny if obama just won the nomination and he ran in the middle of the Congress and did a TO pose...but really i mean its not right to just show something that the person we are supporting wouldnt even bother of doing. It kinda shows up what some are really supporting him for and not because of his views and outlook on how he wants to run the office and country but due to the fact that he is someone that is not Hilary or he is black...etc.

  • F... HILLARY CLINTON not just because she said that "OBAMA CAN'T GET THE WHITE VOTE" but because she's actually working with JOHN McCRAZY and the REPUBLICAN MACHINE

  • IS DEMOCRATS OR 4 MORE YEARS OF BULLSHIT... there is no other option... if u liked the last 8 years, u should vote for JOHN McCRAZY

  • Okay, but why did you just give me one star for saying the same thing that you just said?

  • yo jsmooth props, but when are you getting back into the hip hop scene?

    props

    -Andy

  • Solid commentary. You should post more stuff, you speak truth.

  • good point! although being a schmuck is so much fun... hehe!

Hmm... hopefully some Hillary supporters will come be schmucks with us!

(Okay, so I just like saying schmuck...lol!)

  • Common fucking sense.

  • Cool, thanks for making sense and not sucking.

  • YES!

  • But I enjoy my Obama dance :( Oh alright, I'll save it for November. Come on Clinton supporters, there's room on this wagon for you too.

  • amen brother.

  • I say throw them all out rewrite the rules to state that a senator or representative can only work for 4 year in office. After that get a real job. Let's get a real democracy in there. If you knew you had 4 years to look good to your fellow Americans, and make a better life for yourself after your time was up after 4 years. Imagine how good this country would be.

  • LOL shes a tool. The whole Electoral System is a big FAILURE. It's called Electoral Votes. Normal Peoples Votes don't matter any more. If it was a Majority votes than I'd vote. The people that are in the House of representatives and Senators pick who the next President is.

  • Please read. Its fundamental! Learning is fun.

  • No thanks.

  • You're welcome

  • Good vid good vid

  • aww come on, I practiced my schmuck dance since Iowa...

  • well said, as always
