I have an 03 6.0 PSD and it doesn't give a moment's hassle. We have been averaging a night;y low of 10 around here the past couple of days and it starts just fine unplugged.

@Hemihappy well you must be very lucky, and quite possibly one of the only ones who can say that about a 6.0 PSD

@smourj21 actually 2006 6.0 powerstrokes had the least amount of claims ever, out of any diesel made.

@stefanrhs yeah because after the first batch nobody wanted to buy a 6.0...i find that hard to believe. the 12V Cummins has to be at the top. there is nothing to the motor to make it run its all mechanical

@smourj21 I have a 06 6.0 and it starts right up in about 10*no problem without being pluged in even when it gets down to 0* it starts fine unplugged

@72camojeep i never owned one but the company i work for has 2005-06 6.0's for their work trucks all 4500's i think theres about 6 of them. every single one of them can barley start in a 40* shop in the winter. let alone start on the jobsite. a buddy of mine has a 6.0 and can barley start. with out being plugged in

@darkmp40 That would be a aftermarket lift pump. My guess would be a Fass pump.

holy cow your FASS is loud... I've got the 150/150 kit on mine and I almost can't hear it before I start mine.
