  • your hair was simply braided. and you only had it in for about a week, then you took it out. sounds like your friend cut out your hair if you ask me...

  • "I grew it myself. Thank you." Love that statement.

  • she's silly. (LoL) I like her

  • they did it too tight defo

  • WHAT?! lol i put weave in my hair and it really helped my hair grow! i didn't do much to it.but i still good care of it, my sister didn't and her hair broke off so yeah you do have to take care of it in different ways like to make sure it doesn't smell and keep your actual hair conditioned and moisturized :p, sorry that you had such a bad experince! sucks :( and btw mine felt tight as heck too but it loosened up that's the time where you have to care for it the most!!

  • THIS IS HILARIOUS ROFL

  • you should have just got clip in pieces. you should have researched more before getting it installed.

  • I had the same reaction and it itched like hell

  • lol why do people make a big deal about weaves..it's a haistyle ..you put it in and take it out : - )

  • You should see my hair... wig.. whatever you call it!!

HAhahahahaa.. you'll understand why i'm laughing when you watch it

    although it's quite sad... HA!

  • I learned that my hair break off when I wear braids especially when its tight. I was wondering why my hair didnt grow that fast with it & thats y. So i did an experiment & didnt wear braids for a year & my hair was growing long FAST. that u for sharing ur story.

  • weave is so tight when u first get it. its super painful. i did it one time in college too and ill never do it again

  • Weave is the devil, why wear someone elses hair? why not just take care of the one on your head then the one you brought in the shop,I used to love weaves religiously and it sure grew my hair but destroyed my edges then I gained common sense and started a healthy hair journey,my hair is healthy and I take daily care of it-with a weave YOU CANT do that.

weave is soo fake looking too.

  • I got a weave last summer,I use senthetic hair,It was a braided styles, not hanging down but cornrowed into my hair,I dident know this, but after 3 weeks I took it out and I had a rash on my scalp because I was allergic to the hair:( I had to use a special type shampoo and it was HORRIFIC! Im with you on the weave, its evil! lol

  • I have been wearing weave for years now. I go back and fourht between weave and my natural hair depending on what style i want. Weave definatley requires maintinance. Its best to buy quality human hair which is on the expensive side but it worth it.

  • I agree!! Hair weave is a big NO NO...but it seems like every other black women I meet has a weave...its crazy!! I hate weave... Your REAL hair looks amazing by the way!!

  • oh. my. god. youre 26??

YOU LOOK GREATT i thought you were like 18/19.

    danngg.

  • @bunniesattackedme everyone says that. I guess that's a good thing however not on a Saturday night..lol

  • @amabelscorner however you wear your hair...u are beautiful

  • It doesn't work with everyone's hair. In fact the same thing goes for any kind of hair you're adding on. Last year I lost about 2/3rds of my hair to braids. my hair was pretty long and I didn't keep them in for a long time, but it was so coarse(I didn't realize at the time) that it cut the strands of my hair off. I had to do a really big chop in September, and it's gradually growing back.

  • When you weave your hair (if your ever going to do it again) use synthetic braiding hair with your own hair to braid. I personally don't think the sew in has to be SO tight. That right there is probably what broke it. It also depends on how the person sews it in. It's better to take the thread around the whole braid instead of just onto the surface of the braid. Also ... when your washing it out. DONT massage your hair. Put conditioner on it for a while then wash it out in sections. Best way.

  • Well, how old are u?

  • @Proma203 it says on my profile. Put it like this, I'd never thought I'd get my age and have no children.lol.

  • I agree, weave and me are not friends either, weave does not agree with my texture hair either

  • ok.. this just scared the shit out of me :O

I was planning to just have a track sewn in to give myself some length...

  • my hair grew alot wen it was a weave

  • my hair actually grows when i get weave sewn in. you have to know how to properly take care of it. im on a healthy hair journey and i use it to help me stretch relaxers and with sew in help my hair has grown about 6 inches since last year in december. so maybe its because you never had a weave and you didnt know if thats how its suppose to be idk but thanks

  • lol omg, thats how i felt wen i got in weave, everyday i look and and notice that so many ppl didnt have weave

  • Love your hair! Girls still using weave..use clip-ons..takes less than a few minutes to put in and take out.

  • yeah i feel the same way about braids, they just thin out my hair, and my hair feels do light after, so now i don't do them at all

  • I love your hair! Is your hair relaxed or is that it's natural texture?

  • is she for real

  • hey 1 ur hair`s gorgess nd 2 i can totally c it bein light brown with a few blond streaks in the bangs...yes ik this is a very random comment

  • You are hilarious! I love this video! I wish we were friends!

  • I used to have really long hair.. . but it's been so damaged lately I keep having to cut it... and now I\ve been thinking about getting a weave because I miss the long hair so much lol. but ya... I'm scared.

  • I am sorry that happen to you but you did a lot of things wrong1)Your was too tight, you should never fell uncomforable with any hairstyle.2)Always get a professional to take down hair because it is really easy to cut hair.3)Keep the hair underneath moisturized. I started my healthy hair journey with weave and now my hair is waist length. I almost can gureentee u that the person who took down your hair cut some and it broke off from being too tight and dry. Hope this helps and your hair is back!

  • How Long did it take you to grow it out this long and what is your heritage?

  • @bonitahuesca it took 2 yrs give or take. I had a scissor happy stylist who liked to take too much off when trimming also so thats why it took so long. I'm black, panamaian and mexican.

  • When she took it out she was cutting your hair!!!!

  • @sl2dmax no.. i had her take out each piece and show me what she took out. I don't play with scissors to my hair.

  • wow you're really pretty.

  • Hi most people don't realize that when you put a weave in hair, first of all your hair is not supose to be braid it too tight, if it is too tight your hair wil fall off. Secondly you supose to put a weave cap or net on and sew the weave on the net not your hair. I put weave on once in a while and believe me my hair does not fall off, because the weave never touches my natural hair and beside that I have sensitive scalp, I don't braid my hair tight.

  • I had the same thing happen to me and I noticed that your hair looks a lot like mine. I never had a weave and got one on my 22nd B-Day. My hair wasn't used to being so tight and I had a headache for a week. I have thin strands but a lot of it and my hair can get super dry if not maintained. I went through the whole feeling fake and self conscious of it not being my hair. I hung in there for a month because I paid so much. But lost majority of my hair after. My hair couldn't handle the tension.

  • @aquajoyice i do believe u and me were on the same boat. My hair is the same way!I kept my weave in for a week tho. I would probably be bald if I kept it in for a month.

  • you're so pretty haha! :)

  • honestly your friend probably cut some off by accident because the crazy girl put it in too tight. its not the weave that damaged it its the way it was put in. weave wasn't the enemy its people who don't know what they are doing. Sew in are never suppose to be so tight that it is uncomfortable. If you sew it in properly and neatly there is no need for the weave to be sewn in tight at all.
