They are all "white" because the countries that dominate fashion as it stands are predominately white,(ie NY, Paris, Milano) they cater to their consumers, white men want to see themselves in their advertising. It's easier for them to say "that could be me if i buy that". But it is still racial prejudice that doesn't allow many men of colour into the industry. It's the preconceived notions of the men of other races.
But it is changing slowly, many men from Brazil are getting lots of exposure ie evandro, andre, carmalito, and so are African men too. There are the very rare Asian male model that can work in NY,Paris,Milano but still very very few and I can't recall any for huge campaigns. So it's slowly changing. I read all the past comments and no one said anything thing about East Indian, and Middle eastern, or Native men.
Of course there are models of all races in the world but it's not so much the fact that they aren't being signed to agencies or not, it's more the fact that they don't get chosen to be used in NY, Paris, Milano. That's the issue, that they don't get used alot on the runway and even fewer get huge campaigns. A brave influential designer or photographer needs to make the first step and do something major to attract tons of attention and others will follow.

But on a serious note there are established black male models as in Tyson Beckford, Boris Kodjoe, Kahari May...just to name a few.And those guys in the video are not necessarily "established" either. i knew you would bring up Tyson. He wouldn't be in this though, because he's a supermodel. And as far as these guys being established, read above comments, there people who know them and you will see a lot of the guys in campaigns right now, so yes they are established.

when i say this i am not defending myself, because i don't have to. if there were more established male models who are black, then they would be in this. but i can't find enough pictures for one particular balck model to put into this and thats what it comes down to. but if i was doing women then i would be able to find more black women than men. race should have nothing to do with it. if you're hot, you're hot.

I wish they would actually do that (for the sake of eye candy) but Tyra said it was unlikely seeing as how there aren't many male models that are really popular in today's society, unlike female models such as Gisele, or Tyra herself.
