hey we cant remove apps unless your rooted all is says is permission denied and that is the only way to get to remove flash player because it comes downloaded on the phone
Nah I'm not completely clueless. I have had plenty android devices and rooted most of them my self. Unknown sources is checked cause I sideload plenty of apps. It just says unable to uninstall when I try to install the modified flash
@ballerificnumb914 working on the tutorial now. but i think you're unable to install because the "Unknown Sources" is NOT checked on your phone. Go to Setting - Applications - and make sure "Unknown Sources" box is checked.
I have a sensation 4g but if I do the adband remove it I heard it eliminatesyou from getting software updates from your carrier... Do you know if its true
@ballerificnumb914 that is false. adb does not stop you from getting OTA software updates, Rooting your phone does. adb is just a utility that allows you to send commands to your phone. i'm assuming you're not rooted; i'll post a video tutorial tomorrow showing how to remove Adobe and other carrier bloatware from an unrooted phone using adb...
Hey do you know how I can uninstall the original flash 10.3 because when I go to uninstall it it will only let me uninstall the 10.3 update still leaving the 10.2 flash on my phone so I can't install the modified flash file
@ballerificnumb914 it should work even though 10.2 is on it. if not, there are two ways to remove 10.2: 1) if you're rooted install Titanium Backup from market and remove 10.2 using Titanium 2) if you are not rooted, you will need to download "adb utility" connect your EVO to your pc and run some commands through windows "Command Prompt." let me know how it goes
If it no longer works shouldn't this video be removed? It really serves no purpose...just saying
