I agree with you, ay0jay, her voice is so sensitive, I discovered her by chance on a cd and I have fallen in love with her voice ever since. And I can't say that I know much about arab music but I can appreciate a good voice. :) Her's divine, in my opinion.

I listened The Rough Guide to the Music of Egypt cd about 5 years ago in HMV in London and I fall in love with her two songs in it: Leih Sebtaha and Tedhak Alaia. I must say that my favorite is the second one. :)

That's very interesting! I am a fan of her from Canada. What you listened to actually was from her best-selling record of her lifetime and it is titled as "Leih Sebtaha" (Why Did You Left Her?) which included "Tedhak Alaia" (You Laugh At Me). From what I know from statistics in my channel, Angham got lots of fans from London, Norway, Paris and USA. If you are interested to talk to Angham, you could actually join her official forums and we'll introduce you to her. How does this sound? :)

Actually, I am not from London, I am from Constanta, Romania. I just visited it at that time and was searching the international music stand in HMV, the music from Egypt got my attention, as I like Amr Diab, and then I listened to her songs on that CD.
