marine reserves are fantastic! just seeing how much growth and sea life there is within a few years of being a reserve is wonderful. I recently visited goat island in New Zealand, great example of a successful reserve
In general your work is good but this is just silly. Why not make a similar video that actually outlines the real ways the oceans will be emptied in the future...not giant ice cubes.
now people just think you are joking and there isn't a problem.
Oh lighten up folks! It's a satirical animation, extrapolating the trend wheeby fishing technology becomes ever more efficient and destructive. The consequences of over-fishing to our oceans are immense - 90% of the large predatory fish - sharks, tunas etc. have been removed since the 1950s. Off the coast of Namibia, the ecosystem has flipped and jellyfish are taking over. As Daniel Pauly points out if we continue to fish down the food chain, jellyfish sandwiches may well be on the menu.

I'm so sorry, but Greenpeace is just a ludicrous organisation, they stand in the way of true scientific progress for the sake of their misguided sense of moral self righteousness. STOP SHOVING YOU'RE VIEWS DOWN OUR THROATS. and stop producing dumbass videos like this that portray meat eaters and scientists as dimwitted evil mastermind's, they're really not.
Ok, we understand your relatives are working in science or industrial field and you have been cradled with ultra capitalist ideology, But maybe when grown up you'll see the world as it is: sacked and destroyed by greedy industrials and ignorant individuals. It's not even a question of "morals", just long term survival.
there is absolutely no question that we should be pushing earnestly for more MPAs but I am not convinced that the average Joe in the street will take the issue seriously because of this ad...
sure, employing humor and animation is a good idea, but because the vacuuship and aerial trawler are somewhat farfetched, the point may be missed even though the serious worry about improved technology is looming ever greater...
Hi! Could somebody make a transcript of it? Thank you very much...
