Columns also introduced missions like destroying a glowing piece that were copied.

@hakukahn I think you'll find that the MegaDrive/Genesis actually won the war, it's just SEGA didn't keep it going for as long as they could/should have as they started concentrating on add ons for it then eventually the Sega Saturn, but this got Nintendo scared, that's exactly how the PS1 came about, because Nintendo wanted a CD based system that could compete with SEGA's decision to move to CD's.

That was a couple of years ago Sonic had a few bad games that were lower than SEGA's standards, Sonic 06 was the lowest Sonic's ever been. But these dark times have no ended and SEGA's back on track and Sonic's the best he's been since the Dreamcast and MegaDrive.
