Brushless Bonzer, bashing.

I got brushed one, is there a same size brushless direct replacement motor I could put in without changing gearing or anything?

MrClubpenguinkiller No they arent... you just have to know how to drive them properly. When to give it full throtle and when NOT to. Simple as that.

you sould it? that's too bad, still have my bonzer but im still debating whether to go brushless with it. Did it ever break?i've heard you can strip the gears eazly or like wut drtim03 said it would shred the spurs. Why did u sell it? and how much did your setup cost? i also notice you did somthing to the suspension ;)

Sold it because I wnt back to nitro.

Don't remember what it costed me. I used alu-oil shocks instead of the original platsic crap that was on mine. No problem what so ever with stripped gears using a Feigao 12XL and 6 or 7 cell nimh.

so did you have to buy another pinion for the motor or did u use the one off the stock motor?

I drilled up a stock pinion, the Feigao has a 5mm axle.

all his done is changed the stock 19t pinion to a 21t pinion i think

finally someone built a brushless bonzer !!!

i used to have a bonzer then sold it

i have xl5 and titan 550 12t running on the beast that was my very first rc.

somebody said the spurs cant handle brushless motor because it will shred them.

thats why i moved on and bought a t4 and now ever since ive had a t4 and mamba max.

but dude after seeing this awesome vid and finally found a good bonzer vid with a brushless makes me want to buy one again.

It's really simple. Just find the size of the motor in the stock setup, then find a high voltage ESC and brushless motor that is 540 size. Pump 14.4v through it and then the fucker shifts!
