  • I'm listening to this because my grandmother passed away Saturday, October 29th. Her and grandpa had an 8 track of Johhny Cash and June Carter Cash singing a bunch of Christian songs. I have memories of being at their place and hearing this song on a Sunday morning.

  • this song makes me think about alot in life

  • Beautiful, very nice, we will never forget them!

  • A..P. Carter found and copyrighted this song in the mid twenty's. He was a traveling salesman that gathered up many such traditional folk songs then arranged them with the help of Maybelle Carter.

This is perhaps one of the most simple yet powerful American folk songs ever written.

  • This fracking biatch next to me just said that this was mama carter!! Y'all are suckas!

  • P.S June does an amazing job wt Johnny on chords

  • FYI Maybelle Carter & Family sang it first, therefore it's not a Cover it's a family Song

  • Пипец!!

    Перевод нужен?

  • Uh, this is Not Johnny Cash and June Carter. You should label your song COVER of their song.

  • @wjhonson...It's not "their song" either. Written in 1908. Pretty much every version of it you ever hear is a cover.

  • @wjhonson this is off june carters album, retard.

  • How my heart was touched - beautifully sung.

  • Love hearing Johnny on the chords. Best way to learn it is hearing this version, especially the first 30 seconds.
