Because it is, its just magnificent! when they unveiled it..the amount of high class, powerful people that were at the event, all the worlds press, Car show producers/presenters .. these people like me know what quality and beauty is. Please, koenigssegg just looks kinda like a mclaren F1 , cool looking car, thats it. The bugatti's inside ..my god its like a palace. Its unique in its look , its wide , hunkers down so beautifully. The inside of a K'egg is so cramped , at max speed it rattles

I wouldn't say I'm impressed by the interior and I'm not a big fan of the carbon fiber interior pieces either. Altough I like the material but not inside of the car. It makes the interior look cheap. Exterior is okay.

yeah well people think you can just go buy a sportscar if you win the lottery. Trouble is you need to afford to run it aswell. Forexample to send a Lamborghini to service might cost the same as buying a used car. If you need to change the clutch, gearing, body panels, it will cost insane amounts of money. I can only assume this Koenigsegg is even more expensive. You cant just leave it at the local service station and have them fix it for you.

In theory you could change the entire engine and greabox on your own in 30-60 mins. A few nuts and bolts and the entire lifts right out of the car.

Same goes for most of the pans etc, it's mostly modular so if you have the spare parts at hand you could actually do it yourself.

The suspension is easily accessible and adjustable too (if I'm not mistaken the front luggage pane clicks open and reveals the suspension).

Agreed! Actually Christian say that the Koenigsegg can be similar to 911 in terms of development: 35+ years still in development and refinement because the base product is so good.

I guess hypercars are movin into the luxury arena now then... Before if you wanted a fast car, you lose extras like air con, cd player etc etc... Now they have touchscreen enabled sat nav, air con etc etc. Cars crazy, I would have one over a Veyron any day! (Apart from the Mansory Veyron)
