Now, I play mostly SSFIV (I havnt gotten 3 yet, but i will when it comes out for download) but I would say Ken is more scrub friendly because his moves are strong and dont seem to require as much combo usage. Just Haduken or Shoryuken over and over. From the people I play against, Ryu seems to be more chosen then Ken, but I also see players have more differentiating play styles with Ryu over Ken. Ryu seems to have more flexibility to get creative with.

Ahem, I'm going to have to interview you. Why do you like Ryu so much and hate Ken so much?

Oh, I don't "hate" him. You could call it "fond endearment". I'm fine w/using both anyday without a problem, but he's been so associated w/scrubs so much I never bother selecting him. Yeah, I'm a scrub, but not the kind that spams hadous... just the kind that plain-out sucks compared to others :P

That's how it's like in Japan huh? Or is that the way they view American and foreign users of Ken also? If so I should say they are biased towards their Ryu (not that there aren't many dumb Western and foreign fanboys of this prominent virtual Kohaku employee already), but tell me anyway from what you have gathered so far.

Hm... I think alot of people "overuse" Ryu too, but I guess they try to differentiate themselves from the Ken users. Sorry I can't provide much info, I haven't played Street Fighter for quite a long time! ^_^
