They always looked a bit spaz, it's like zombies though, they're crap but they're absolutely everywhere ...and the anarchic survivors end up just as dangerous. One false move and yer done for.
Having a Landrover always seems to be the key, if it's a particularly British apocalypse. Nobody comes close for cool product placement.
I've just bought the series, so I'll let you know if I shit myself n' that.
wow those triffids were probably like: "Fuuuuck."

Flowers that have little to no harming capability and walk just a little faster than a regular flower can walk.
How terrifying.

Now, instead of shitty puppets, if they shoved flowery mask-hood things on enraged ostridges: NOW we got entertainment!

they look like ostriches... or emus

Hell, that'd make a marginally better movie;
1. Force a bunch of emustriges to wear frilly, emasulating clothing
2. Set them loose on some actors desprate for work.
3. ?????
4. PROFIT!

When I was a kid, about seven, the triffids seriously creeped me out. However now, twenty eight years later, they just look so LAME!

I never saw this series, but the book was damn scary in itself.

@tkhushrenada I didn't find the book scary. In fact, and you might call me weird for saying this, but I rather fancy the idea of such a world.
