  • @deeperthanmost1 They released a special edition DVD of the movie a few years back, and as a bonus, included a separate CD of the entire soundtrack, I've seen it at Best Buy, Borders, and a few other outlets, so there you go.

  • you it gets to me wen this song goes of and this song plays because with the beauty, soulful jazz and the heart felt energy in this song, if you are old enuff, it takes you back to the old fun days where you pretty much didnt have to worry about any of the stuff today. plus the unity and togetherness, AND THE LOVE BETWEEN BRUTHAS AND SISTAS. YA DIG, SHO NUFF.

  • Aww so many memories from this song. Clark Atlanta University campus, 1990, Freshman year, away from home for the first time. This song was definitely a part of the soundtrack of my life in those days! Good times.

  • i heard that!

  • It can read like a dime store novel

Filled up with tension and fear

First you get the romance, then there is trouble maybe tears

Still I loved you spite of distance of myself

I wanted to resolve this before I dealt with someone else......???

But there is nothing to say

    We didn't know yesterday

    We already said goodbye

    Before we said hello

  • "Nobody cried when we said goodbye. No reason why." I loved this song. I worked in a movie theater when this was playing so I heard this song a million times and it never go old.

  • I remember reading this song almost didn't make the soundtrack, but was forced on Spike to use as a part of the record labels (EMI) request to have one of their artist represented... I'm happy they did that. This song is in my top ten of all time favorites. Arrangement by Fisher, vocals by Portia, POAD, and lyrics by Raymond... great!
