  • Whatever happened to Uranus...?

  • Most people do not know on youtube, that there is a star/sun 5x the size and W Cephei, it is called VY Canis Majoris

  • @brandofaggot i knew of it 500 million times bigger than our sun i beleive

  • They forgot Uranus!

  • Calm down guys. :) it's only as big as your screen :D

  • @ZoMBiE1613 But' it's sooo AMAZING!!!

  • Now i can imagine the biggest planet hitting Earth.. O_o

  • ei, frogot uranus

  • 0:30 O_e

    0:45 >:O

    1:00 ; _ ;

    1:15 *dead*

  • where's vy canis majoris??

  • wheres uranus? :>

  • WOW...are you "Sirius"!!! hee hee

  • Comment removed

  • those stars are big than us and sun

  • WOW! and all these revolve around the earth?

  • We're just a tiny ball.

  • Hey, you left out URANUS!

  • wow the difference size gap between earth and neptune is soooo huge

  • no way that is so cool

  • English

Well since 2005 have discovered 4 new super star "VY Canis Majoris" is now the largest in the world.

and "W Cephei is the fourth largest.

    Español

Bueno desde el 2005 se han descubierto 4 nuevas super estrellas "VY Canis Majoris" ahora es la mas grande del universo.

y "W Cephei" es la cuarta mas grande.

  • @Zakeruba Wow! That star is the largest in the world? How does it fit? (sarcasm)

  • Fact: Chuck Norris was born at the center of W CEPHI.

  • Imagine if the Earth`s size was like VW Cannis Majoris.

  • by the ending i felt like a fether at the end 0_o

  • makes me feel so small...

  • VY Canis Majoris is the largest star currently known.

  • vy canis majoris is bigger than vv chephei

  • @123BEST789 the video is from 2007, I think thats why

  • what the????

  • where in the hell is uranus

  • @djmcpingu uor anus has take uranus!

  • @djmcpingu

If it was up your ass, you'd know where it was...

  • There is no black energy or dark matter. Because our universe is NOT, infinite. Because of our limited understanding of scale. We have no clue where we actually exist in the fractal scheme of things. Our universe is actually contained. and is enclosed within and part of a living entity. If say, 17.6 billion light years is the size of a pea, and located in the center of a pineal gland. There is no way can we see the growing skull bone encapsulating our universe. ? is. How old is our host?

  • Where is Canis Majoris?

  • if i say it s a joke it s because

    pollux=6 962 500

    arcturus=4 177 500

    and rigel=86 335 000

so pollux wiykd be bigger than arcturus...

    miss something!

so check your brain first skyeliam before looking for something else

  • @Sherlockcomes you fogot a numBer on arcturus

  • @kittythelord5511

    lol so which one?

  • @kittythelord5511

according to the video of course! that s not me who forgot something...

but skylam and it could be his brain

  • What about your anus, I though that was bigger then neptune but I didn't even see it.

  • Arcturus's data is a joke!

  • actually the sun is white but it looks yellow and red course of the earth

  • The coolest part about this is that all of these Planets and Stars revolve around us!

  • @ranma763 joking, right?

  • Its Sirius ice?

  • @enes752

No it's just white. White stars are about 7,000-11,000 degrees C. It's a LOT hotter than ice.

  • Where's your anus?

  • this is chuck norris marble collection

  • If I had to take an educated guess, I would say that the Sun is just that...the Sun.

Stars and galaxies however, are nothing more then holes and rips in the fabric of space. What we see is light shining through these holes and rips. Remember, the infomaton you have about stars and galaxies came from people just like you. Although you have never taken a direct measurement of a star or galaxy, you believe these "scientist" because they merit our way of thinking. Its all about perception.

  • @fanbutton Scientists analyse the Data at hands, make a hypothesis and then try very hard to disprove it, and if the hypothesis is ongruent with reality it will withstand these attempts and emerge victoriously.

  • Why study when its all just an illusion anyway? Its all about perception. Someone shows us a picture and tells us a story and presto, we believe them because it fits in with the status quo. What's really up there in the heavens? This reminds me of the StarTrek episode, "For The World Is Hollow and I Have Touched The Sky". Just how high is up?

  • If you set your beliefs to what man makes up. Earthly things like Evolution. It will blind you. Look at the SHEER SIZE of these stars. They had to be created, look how big they are. That's only a taste of what God has done. If you wrote books about everything God has done you couldn't fill the hole EARTH with all those books. Just an example of how man sets their beliefs by what they see and what they hear. You can't see billions of these giant stars. But you know they are there.

  • @Kr0n1k4Lyfe religion is man made so by your logic you own yourself....stop trolling science vids

  • My BALLS should be on the end of that scale.

  • It's things like these that make you realize your life is pointless.

  • hey pluto does exic people dont think that it exic because its the tinest on dud

  • Where`s Uranus?lol

  • HOLY SHIT anyone else like gasp eight times??? everything after Sirius blew my mind, almost made me blow my load!!

  • i think in about 1 million more years we'll find the end of the universe :D

  • u know what why does neptune have to be bigger then us. fuk neptune

  • @i619pie lol

  • Where's V Y Canus Majoris?

  • HOLY MAMA!

  • WTF !

  • my cephei and w cephei are about as big as my two nuts

  • You should probably get that checked out...

  • I wish we could see Rigel in the future, when it becomes a red giant! Look how big it is now, as a very young star. Imagine how big it will be as a red giant?!? Holy cow!!!

  • @Paulie151 Beteiguze is a red giant but the cephei's arent lol

  • @Paulie151 lordyyyy

  • @Paulie151 So all stars, when they are a baby, don't necessarily have to start off at the same size? I guess when the sun was blue it was smaller than rigel is now? I heard in thousands of years, the sun will turn into a red giant in its next phase in life, and swallow planets up to the point of saturn, good thing we will be gone by then.

  • @EverWinterNights True. But Rigel is much, much bigger than our sun. These stars we've been talking about here, are all supergiant stars regardless of age. Our sun is only an average sized star, but yes it will expand to about Jupiter's orbit when it becomes a red giant, possibly Saturn's.

  • @Paulie151

Aren't the blue ones, and white ones hotter than the reds and oranges?

  • @EverWinterNights Well, the blue ones are, as they are young stars. White one aren't always, because new stars and dwarves can both be white, so it depends. But the young the star is, the hotter. As they age, they lose their heat gradually. If you really want to learn about this, you should go to the library and take out some video books. They are cool to watch, and a great way to learn.

    Cheers.

  • @EverWinterNights - Yep. The red giants are the coldest, they are less dense than orange yellow or white.

  • @EverWinterNights - Try millions of years.

  • @lookaguru Millions? Whoa. I thought it had something to do with this theory someone told me scientists had, although this person could have misunderstand what the scientists said, this was years back when I heard of this: "In a few thousand years the sun will burn out and fall", and recently I thought they must be talking about when the sun comes towards the end of its life going red giant and expanding on us. Hopefully its millions.

  • @EverWinterNights - LOL @ "thousands".

  • haha, betelguese, like in hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (book)

  • omg!! i want to be astronaut , and i want to see those stars or planets LIVE !!! ;p fuck , earth is that small , universe is that awsome , just turns me on!!!!!!!!

  • very crazzy ,makes someone go nuts ,It's difficult for people to get their head around certainly, but when respected and intelligent scientists give up on their studies and start telling people things like "It's impossible" someone must have done it" this is amazing , I feel let down and disappointed. Sure it's complicated, and maybe even impossible to understand, but look at how much we have learnt in the last 100 years. It wasn't that long ago that we believed that the Earth was flat!

  • lmao haha

  • lmao look at u guys bein all serious. RAWR!!! lmao loosen up, pull the sticks out yer ass and enjoy life.

  • Why is there no Uranus?

  • the alien races would be as insignificant as us no doubt, you need a small planet for life to evolve otherwise gravity would be too high

  • actually, they may be strong enough to survive on higher gravity, or they may have adapted/evolved or something.

    who knows? =)

  • Uranus is no longer considered a planet because it is made up of only gas and no solid matter, in my opinion.... after god finished making all the other planets, he let out a giant fart........ :)

  • @jordan10199005

hahahahahaha nice one..... and holy crap that last star is soo gigantic!

  • man you are sooooooooooooooooooooo stupid.... btw. Uranus has rocky core with is solid matter....get the F#@k i hate stupid people...

  • @jordan10199005 - Ummm. Would you mind too terribly much if I asked you to shove your fucking "god" up your ass? Thank you!

  • @r06u3AP calm down you tit. Its a turn of phrase, the guy was just trying to be funny.

  • @r06u3AP .... IDD

  • kilometers???

  • Fractal universe

    is my new upload

  • What Happen With Uranus

  • And which god would that be then?

  • wow we are nothing compared to the hugeness in space. The heavens really do declare the glory of God!

  • Amen!

  • no, they dont

  • actually, as long as you have the right chemicals, the essentials for life can be created. (see experiment of miller and urey)

  • if you're going to show venus spinning on its axis, at least make an attempt to show it spinning in the RIGHT direction (clockwise)

  • They completely left out Uranas! WTF?

  • Dio estas la Kreinta de tua Universo.

  • w chepey.... hol% shit

  • When you just look at the planets and stars you think were small.... you should look up a film about light speed, then you see how huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge space really is.... it's just unimanigable

  • My spirit bomb is bigger

  • Goku's Spirit Bomb is bigger. :P

  • pwnd :>

  • I wonder if there is a bigger star then VY Canis Majoris.....

  • Ofcourse there is, we just dont see them, universe is big you know, this is only what we managed to see with a space telescope

  • the odds say that somewhere in the void of space lies a star 50 million times as big as vy canis majoris

  • Oh trust me there is.

  • Where is Uranus?????????????????????????

VY Canis Majoris, being the largest known star, should be on this list.

  • behind me

  • My Star Destroyer is small, but it is a virus.

  • Humanity is not important.

Our stupid little problems are not important.

  • This ^

  • I agree, we only think they are. In the entire universe we are just small, insignificant dust specks. This video (and others like it) really put things in their right perspective, don't they?

  • what about VY canis majoris? =P it is 2100 times larger in diameter than our sun, AKA largest star known in existance

  • too bad our sun isn't blue that would be totally awesome or just really annoying

  • summer would be blue

  • I think it is important to think in smaller or completely different Dimensions.

The Universe is not meters or kilometres, it is Nano and Giga, to underestimate.

  • holy crap on a cracker

  • HOLY TO A MUTHA FUKA!

  • It's impossible to fit "Nutsackus Majorus" on a screen, no matter how much you zoom out.

  • yes ur balls 0.00000000000000000000001 mm in raduis

  • "radius", btw this kinda made me laugh ;_;

  • And I thought the sun was big!!!!!!!

  • ohhhh that would be pretty cool

  • i wonder how the world be if we lived in a planet the size of the last star

  • That planet would collapse under it's own phenominal mass and create the largest black hole the universe has probibly ever seen.

  • we would be travelling for years

  • i feel sorry for u then must take like months for u to feel ur dick cuz the travel for the nerves to ur head would take a long ass time

  • That's no t physically possible..... that's what she said!

  • Well, dont i feel small :D

  • lol yay thats the same thing i sed at the end

  • I really didn't think you idiots would take that comment seriously. Ha submoronic

  • what is the size of "Alpha Centauri"?

  • A bit bigger than the Sun, but not much.

  • teach us this weirding way...

  • Still nothing as big as my balls !

  • not even Uranus?

  • ohoho...snap!

  • what abouy Myanus?

  • Legendary comment darthTiger, legendary. Rofl!

  • ahahahah

  • Cool, interesting, informative and scary at the same time.

  • kinda whips things into size doesnt it Im sitting hear even trying to comprehend the size of lager stars in my hear

  • wow. we we think ower sun is big!

  • Reminds me of the Total Perspective Vortex.

  • wheres uranus and canis majoris?

  • you forgot a 0 at Arcturus

pollux has 6962500 km and Arcturus which is way bigger has 4177500 km

    anyhow great video

    and verry scarry

  • muy impresionante vcasi me cago enseriio imaginate si el w cephei estaria en lugar del sul nombre estariamos todos bien kemados :(

  • Uranus went like urine...

  • it exploded

  • What happened to Uranus?

  • Sobering.

  • VY Canis Majoris extends to the orbit of Saturn.

  • The biggest star is actually VY Canis Majoris.

  • this was made before VY canis majoris was discovered.

  • Okay,I see,thanks.

  • I just can't let a comic opportunity like this go to waste...

    WHERE'S URANUS?!

  • they got that all wrong says my girl lol

  • your girl is an idiot

  • Our sun is actually a lot smaller than we first imagined. It's approx. the size of 14 football pitches and is located 5km above ground level. That's why you can sometimes see clouds behind it.

  • this mate stitchkaboodle999 know exactly how much attention he/she will gets proving the fact that some people are just born to be ignorant and die with being more ignorant than ever!!!

  • Idiot
