Bullet boys opened up for Ozzy at the Tower Thearter which btw was a pay per view event. one of the first in the country...I also started a bullet boys suck chant on national tv. why?. because were from Philly!
Wasn't there but saw it live on Pay Per View - big event for me at 12 or so. Yes the Bullet Boys opened...and were greeted with "Bullet Boys Suck!" by a wise Philly crowd. They tried to turn it around with "Would you boo rock an roll?!" Nice try!
Did he tour twice for this record (No Rest for the Wicked)? I remember seeing this tour at the Spectrum not the Tower around 1989. I know the Bullet Boys didn't open because I never saw them, honestly I can't remember who opened that Spectrum show. I do remember that it was the best I had ever seen Ozzy and the first time I ever saw Zak Wylde.
He did a winter tour (Spectrum) I was at that too Anthrax opened at that one The Tower theater show was in the summer for a King Biscuit Pay Per View we did not know this we were just going to a Ozzy show bullet boys opened my seats were taken by a huge camera for the show 5th row we got front row seats because of this it was a great show
Having listened to some live perfomances I think 1989 Ozzy live stuff is overall the best I've found here - though he wasn't in the brightest shape otherwise those days I've understood.
