it freezes A LOT. I would get 2k8 for 360 instead of NHL 08 but the graphics are like the pS2 version of NHL 08, 2K8 is more arcade like I guess with shit graphics but I hear they have some good stuff on it. Nhl 08 thought has a lot of cool features too. I'd suggest to go with NHL 08.

i've played basketball i know its hard on running but believe me play hockey and to get yourself going really fast on skates isn't as easy as it looks and i know, i've played rep hockey for years and had family members play OHL/AHL even play some NHL games. basketball is a hard working sport don't get me wrong but it will never be up with hockey. only sport i can think of that can out do hockey is football, those guys got the hardest training of them all..

The don't need speed to play hockey. All you have to do is ice skate. Also in basketball you have to run plays to get open and on defence you cant let you match get an open shot so you are constently running in hockey you just slide around hitting a puck

Well let the patriots take off their "padding and helmets" which is what makes them tought and NRL players would run around them. In NFL a game is 3 hours, NrL is 80 minute game with 2 teams, NFL has 3. Which means all take a break. Which in return conserves energy.Watch an NRL game and see how much more running and athletic abilities they need to play.NFL players have specific roles . NFL is stratergy and 5 second plays, NRL is an 80 minute play with non-stop action.

well that's because by now, they expect most people to have switched to the next gen systems and they don't see a market for the current gen users. Also the EA people in Montreal who work on the PS2 and PC version are lazy asses. BUt you really should of got NHL 08 for PC instead of PS2. You can mod the game which is the only thing better than the next gen versions, songs, pads, boards, ice, teams EVERYTHING CAN BE CHANGED!

I chose phily fliers - decent goaltenders all around - biron + makki and they have bouchier for the ahl team which makes life easier. Also see brierre, lupul, smith, gagne, etc. Hard choice though. I was New Jersey in 07...
