Yes, their music will live forever. I went on a camping trip last summer with some middle school students. On the ride to the campground and back home, the kids sang Beatles songs the whole way. All I could think was, "John Lennon will be loving this."
The only good songs that were and are after the Beatles and Rolling Stones era was Nirvana and is Green Day. I would give God justin beiber and Lady Caka for Mr. Lennon and Mr. Harrison

This is the song they first played on Ed Sullivan. I was only 10 years old and I never saw any pictures of them and had no idea what they even looked like until that show. Almost everyone one in the country was watching. Some people, like maybe 2 % of the country were not watching but I have never met anyone my age or older who was not. I wonder what the hell else was on. I mean all everyone talked about for weeks and all everyone was waiting for was the Beatles on Ed Sullivan and it was great.
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you, Tomorrow I'll miss you; Remember I'll always be true. And then while I'm away, I'll write home ev'ry day, And I'll send all my loving to you. I'll pretend That I'm kissing the lips I am missing And hope that my dreams will come true. And then while I'm away, I'll write home ev'ry day, And I'll send all my loving to you. All my loving I will send to you. All my loving, darling I'll be true.

I was born in 1951. When the Beatles hit I was 12. To be a teenager during the Sixties is really indescribable. The Beatles took over everything. Music, magazines, television. It was a phenomenon that will never be duplicated. Their sound was incredible then as it still is today. As soon as I got to know one album, another one soon followed. I loved the Beatles then and I love their music today.
I absolutely love this song. I'm so upset I never got to live through The Beatles era. I was only born in '93, and music has only declined since then. God, how I wish I lived through The Beatles era.
@TheBramBens I am glad I am not the only young person that likes the Beatles. I was born in 1989. If anyone offeres to take me to a rock concert of my choice, I would really need a time machien.

Did you know that Paul plays a major scale descending while with his voice is in contrary motion?
That is couterpoint and is absolutly genial!!!!and difficult.....
How many bass players can do something like that?
¿Sabían que Mc Cartney desciende con una escala mayor, mientras simultáneamente sube con su voz?
Eso es contrapunto y es sencillamente genial!!!
¿Cúantos bajistas pordán hacer algo así?
