Thanks for this video. The original Japaneese for the song is the best! By the way, I remember that the name of the pilot in Mazinger was Cogi Cabuto, at least on the translation that was used for El Salvador!

Esta serie la pasaron en El Salvador en 1987 cuando yo tenia 9 años estaba Yo EN 2do grado se transmitio en canal 4 a mediado del año 1987 porque en canal 12 estaban cerrando el anime el Festival de los Robots, El Vengador, El Supermagnetron y El Gladiador eso es todo.

OMG thank you phenrilwolf i being trying to rmember the name of this cartoon for many years i was shown is Centro America EL SALVADOR in the mid-80;s also before Robotech was another cartoon if was about robots tetsuya was one of the pilot but i cannot remember the name the of it

The only Tetsuya i know is the pilot of Great Mazinger.Maybe there are others but i don know who are them.

@MINICAT3030 Yes, the name is Arbegas. Tetsuya was the pilot of the blue robot (Beta). Daisaku was the pilot of the black robot and Hotaru (the girl) was the pilot of the red robot :)

not likely; latin america only got it cheap, because it was outdated in Japan obviously. This stuff is the stuff 70's generation Japanese kids grew up with, however, when it got old, its the stuff 80's generation latin american kids grew up on, such as yours truly.

He said, the copyright in Japan is quite complicated.

For example, one anime, maybe the copyright of the character is A company, but the copyright of the robot is B company.

For Gordian, this anime, all the copyright used to be Tatsunoko. That means now is NOT Tatsunoko.
