I like in this how the guitar work is sparse in places, yet when used it stands out. The bass gives a good backing to the song too.

I've always found Moore's bond to be as good as or better than anyones. You have to be kind of silly to take any of these movies seriously...yet they are among the most entertaining stuff you will find imo. Always terrific production values, good acting, beautiful locales, and tongue in cheek commentary on world politics. Moore makes it that much more entertaining for me bc he makes you feel like he is aware of the entire game and is taking you along for the ride as his privileged guest.

This one and "For Your Eyes Only" are # 1. The best songs came from the Moore films. Might just be me, but they don't make movie themes like this anymore. And Binder was the master of openings !

While Sean Connery had a somehow rough attitude playing Bond, Moore brought some charme and comedy into the role. Both are pretty different, so it's hard to chose. :-)

well, you're right my friend...eventhough I think 60's generation always choose Connery, not just for 007 movies, other roles too, you know...Roger is fantastic. He roled this great performance in 5 times...The man with the golden gun, Moonraker...Octopussy is his best, I think.
