The Phantoms were originally the guardians of Hyrule, thats why they have the royal crest one theirs shields and armor. When Bellum came along he possesed all of the phantoms and made them evil. but if he never came, the phantoms would still be good

you can kill the Phantoms after you get the better sword.. shoot them in the back with an arrow then kill them with the sword..

ok dude to stop time you first do need the yellow ball. to get it you have to clash with the phantom and then hit him right after he gets thrown off gaurd, then press the hourglass icon o your D.S screen, when you see a "border" apear draw figure eights, i do that repededly because i almost never draw them perfect. to get the spirits power find 10 of their gems, courage wisdom, power, then go south of the 2nd island you come across, then once you turn your gems in open collection and press one

I had the Power Spirit activated which adds extra damage to your attacks activated, you need at least 10 gems to wake each ones power.
