I believe Thurston's is a hybrid of a Fender Tele deluxe body and a G&L neck.

Lee's playing one of his pimped out "Jazzblasters" (jazzmaster with tele deluxe "wide range" humbuckers)

The official SY site has a great section chronicling almost every piece of gear they've used since the mid eighties.

Woooo! I was there!

I was in the top. I remember i needed a piss so badly...But was adamant I was not going to miss Teen Age Riot.

I was next to this guy who was off his face high. At about 3:30 in he leaned back on his chair and started kicking wildly to the music. His girlfriend had a camera and she kept kneeling on her chair or going on the floor and pushing the camera through the bars to create wild angles.

It was spectacular.

I love Sonic Youth.

All these rock bands are coming back from 20-30 years ago and making a huge deal, these guys have never stopped playing for 20 yeas.

Me too! I missed that one and was kicking myself when it started. Wish I'd got the Trilogy too, was excellent. Pretty good gig all round, they practically played a secong gig when they came back after the first encore.

Yeah, the sound came out well. I only recorded these three songs as I ran out of memory.
