Genes are different because of obvious differenciation through time and mutation. The fact of the matter is all indo-european people descend from one single proto-indo-european "tribe". Genetics show very close relations between Europeans and other indo-european people, more so than say, with black africans.

Yes, zero was "invented" by indians. You know what true indians are? Indo europeans. You know what most europeans are? Indo europeans. Today many indians are darker because of the migration of darker people. If many Indian rich people are lighter skinned is because of their stronger indo european ascendance, they are the higher cast because they were the first real indians.
