The lady I used to go to would take FOREVER. Now I got a new hairdresser and she does it in like 3 hours and they are a lil longer that urs. That being said, I will never wait that long ever again!

like many others have said you could have kept your length and the "scragly" ends and just dipped the end in boiling water to avoid the weird unnatural burned end look. It would not only be longer but the burned ends can scratch your skin if you wear a tank and thats uncomfortable. Sucks that whoever did your hair didn't tell you that!

if you dip the hair in hot water it will stop them from sticking to each other :)
