i saw in interview that he was a big drinker back in the days, especially towards the end of soundgarden and in between the break-up of SG and the forming of Audioslave, he was going through a rough time. He never mentioned any drugs, but being around soo many people in Seattle like Layne, Jerry, Andy, Kurt... i am sure he did some drugs without out a doubt but after watching soo many die, he probably drank more then inhaled or injected drugs.
I mean seriously watching this interview, and other 90's CC interviews, it's literally like a different person. Different attitude, different tone of voice..
What a shame. I mean back in the 90's he was this cool 90's grunge guy, that you could relate to, same for the whold band. Now it's like..."I can't believe I used to actually think this guy was cool."
Can't believe this same guy would go on to become such an airhead. In the 90's he was such a badass. I've watched so many interviews with Soundgarden, listened to so many bootlegged concerts. All for nothing. It's like sometime ago they killed the Chris from the 90's and replaced with a drone or something. lol..
He grew up. Many didn't. He wasn't cool, just aloof and angry with himself and the world.

Stupidity is a disease and mini-malls are means of transmission. Luckily we have Chris Cornell and he is the cure.

Dont worry about it man.
This is back when he was a heroine addict.
Hes cleaned himself on in Audioslave and solo and is now alot more...alive.

I'm pretty sure that Chris didn't do heroine.
I think it was mostly just smoking and drinking.
