The creation of modern TV was the work of many people, there's no question of singling out any one person and Farnsworth is a link in that chain, not the chain itself.

haha were you guys actually there to know all this?? im pretty sure he came up with the idea pretty early especually for his age. He didnt have financial support so he was delayed. He didnt go and like spy on someone to figure out how to do it..he was 14, he was just a genius....give him a break

@Pupula56 I don't know if thats right..... he's my great-great uncle. My mom's family is not only from Salt Lake City, which he was born and raised and lived almost all his life, but we also have proof.

you are right. he was born in utah, but the family farm where he was mostly raised (and did his early work) was in rigby idaho.

he did not invent any of the pannel tellevision technologies, but he did invet the CRT tellevision technology. he also invented the first all electronic camera. and one of the current fusion concepts. he was alive durring a time when an invention could rais a nobody to a success, now adays the wright brothers would not have gotten credit for the airplane, it would have gone to some corporation.

Farnsoworth didn't invent the electronic television. It was invented and patented by Hungarian Kálmán Tihanyi in 1926. The later Farnsworth system proved to a blind alley, Factories have never produced the Farnsworth system. Tihanyi's earlier invention of the predecessor of all modern electronic system. UNESCO (United Nations) the patent offices and Nobel Comitee created the award: MEMORY OF WORLD. They considered Tihanyi as the inventor.

He got the idea as a boy plowing a field "why not scan the image like rows. he then went on to school to learn the tools he needed driven by the desire to make his dream a reality. He had the vision, he did the work and he created the thing. Farnsworth filed his patent in the early 1920's but he wasn't accredited by the scientific community until winning his patent lawsuit with rca years later. what eh invented was electronic tv.

Farnsworth invented a thing called the farnsworth fusor. it was a vacuum tube that would when hydrogen was injected into the field produce a fusion reaction
