I don't want to trash the Hurricanes because I kind of like the. (even though I am an Oiler fan) but this seemed to be one of the smallest cup parades I have ever seen.

When the Wings had their parade two weeks ago, if it was 20 degress, more people would've come than was at this parade. great word bettman putting a team where nobody cares. if this team was still in hartford, place woulda been packed.

@ballcapmusicbox check your facts friend. you were the hartford whalers before moving to carolina. so your team has been around for 31 years. and even if you do just barely squeak into the playoffs, you'll be going up against powerhouses like philly or washington. tough task.

@tdz92 i know that, but im not refering to the whalers. they arent the same. yeah playoffs will be hard provided we edge in, but hey, the flyers were 7th last year

@tdz92 this was a second parade they had. and hartford wouldn't have had anymore than raleigh would have. raleigh's one of the best 'new' hockey markets

Team wins the Cup and almost nobody cares. Thank you Bettman for putting a hockey team in a part of the country that could care less about the Stanley Cup.If this was Winnipeg or Quebec, they would still be celebrating in the streets to this day.
