I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I too hang my clothes out to dry, but I don't bother pulling socks right side out because socks tend to stretch more when wet. I pull it right side out when it's dry =).
Glad to know that hanging clothes is the same all round the world. It is a dying art. Clothes are put wrong side out with the thickest washing facing the sun. Most washing shd be dried about the same time and collected tog without being in the sun longer than nec ;) Sun-kissed sheets/towels smell so good.

My mother had a "hissy fit" it clothes were not hung correctly for drying. All pants were to be hung by the hem matching each pant, and all shirts were to be matched at the end corners und upside down, this is because the waists of the pants and the shoulders/colars were heavier, pulling out the wrinkles. All socks were to be hung with their mate, and by the toe. I am middle age and still to this day hang out my wash in the same manner, for Momma's ways worked.

I learnt this way, and if i was still using the clothes hoist they would be hung like this........old habits die hard..... :-D
