  • isn't this a close grip bp....wow

  • Great lift! Very strong! Perfect form!

  • unreal!

  • one of the most perfect lifts i have ever seen with such a weight.... you are like a fucking ox!

  • Those are the best reps I think I have ever seen....so smooth!

  • SOLID lift

  • If I paused that on my chest It'd be crushing my ribs !

  • @J4Y86 Yeah? homosexuals are gay!

  • @J4Y86 Cut me in half!!

  • beautiful form. fantastic lift, dude.

  • @MacMaraScott in professional sport - ANYTHING which is not done in an official contest - is presumably a LIE.

  • @MacMaraScott 1521 lbs moved is your mother walking from her bedroom to the fridge

  • He's a fucking beast... he pauses at his chest... no chest bounch for him

  • How you bench for what? Lollipops at the health club? Power lifters have reasons for their lifts just like body builders. He's strong as shit...but he could press a LOT more. But that's not his thing is it? Silly people...

  • Damn right. This is how you bench !

  • Damn you strong son!

  • so clean, just perfect

  • MASSIVE pause on the last rep

  • lol i love the guy in the background grabbing the 5 pound weights

  • @MacMaraScott you were actually trolling resonably well up until this comment

  • no suite no belt no stupid powerlifting form...this guy is a beast

  • This Guy Is An ANIMAL.

  • @MacMaraScott so if a baby does 1lb x 1601 he's stronger than you?

  • badass

  • thats fucken power

  • That looked easy for him LOL

  • @MacMaraScott no, your not. learn the difference between strength and endurance. force x distance = work, which DOESNT equal power. power = strength. if your 1, 2 or 3 rep max was greater than his, maybe then you would be stronger than him. how much can you bench for 3 reps? i'd put my money on it being south of 230kg.

  • @MacMaraScott That would suck..... Carry on then...

  • @MacMaraScott Post that 100 lb bench and see how many people you impress.......

  • @MacMaraScott Your math may be flawed ..........

  • finally someone who knows what they're doing

  • В рот мне гирю - сильный трицепс )).

  • Your someone to admire for your form and strength!!!!!!!

  • what they feed you guys in europe...i want some

  • robi wrazenie . dla mnie to waskie wyciskanie gdzie zaangazowany jest poteznie tricesps . szacunek ale takie rzeczy mozliwe tylko u ruskich ? you are very strong . respekt

  • this guy is strong, i mean close grip bench press 230kg, i wonder how many can do that

  • @MacMaraScott Exactly, Andy is strong as hell, I know that, but if he could do 600ibs for 10 reps then he would without any doubt have the world record in benchpress... Which he doesn't have

  • @MacMaraScott Publicity :/ He's making an application for a TV show. The world record holder in geared bench (Ryan Kennelly) manages to do like 3-4 on 600ibs, I just don't believe that a bodybuilder outbenches a 160kg+ powerlifter.

  • @MacMaraScott Minimizes the risk? No, everyone does mistakes, even the pros :|

Oh believe me, there are people who sell fakes plates...

  • @MacMaraScott The plates are simply made by a lighter material. :|

Having an 11 year old as a spotter for 600ibs aint very clever, what if something goes wrong?

  • @MacMaraScott Seeing is believing? Sry, but that concept is not recommended. You think that someone whos about to benhc 600ibs uses an 11 year old spotter? Really?

  • @MacMaraScott lol... Gullible... "cuz he says it is"... If that video is real, he outbenches Magnus Samuelsson, Riku Kiri, Scot Mendelson and Ryan Kennelly... which I seriously doubt he does

  • @MacMaraScott That video is a fake u kno.

  • this is more triceps than chest... WHICH IS BLOODY INSANE

  • HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

  • "Close" (this is not a close grip - its a standard grip) grip is not easier nor harder... you people really need to get your facts straight. Powerlifters use this grip, because it allows them to use their deltoids, as well as triceps and chest, moving the bar in a circular motion, from the bottom of their chest to above their head. In combination with an arched back and leg work, it gives a greater potential to your lifts. Wide grip bench is useful for bodybuilders only, to put accent on pecs.

  • Holy fuck.

  • Pausing on your chest with 230kg. what a man

  • this is crazy weight for that narrow grip. Respec!

  • wow what the fuck ? my opinion is that shit guy is the world best in RAW-powerlifting ! and look how close hes keeping hands when he doind bencpress !!!

  • wtfffffffffffff

  • Jesus fucking christ

  • good form!

  • This dude has brutal triceps power!

  • he needs a wider grip

  • @cmthorson2 you tell him that then.

  • @cmthorson2 That is where he is most powerful. Why would he widen his grip and bench less?

  • @cmthorson2 no he doesnt, there are MULTIPLE ways to bench press and this focuses a lot of more on his triceps than his pecs

  • he doess 507 like i do 180 O.o

  • great form, pause on the chest, brilliant! now i'm off to the gym to do the same with literally half the weight, fml.

  • @giteausuperstar half the weight with this form is actually not bad at all, prbly means you could squeeze out 300+ on a good day. props to you if you are not lying of course =)

  • that was legit. with the close grip and the pause on the chest, that was hella impressive!

  • I wonder how many guys will still bench with shitty form even though they saw how it should be done??

  • Wow, tha'ts a pretty close grip for all that weight.

  • Raw fucking animal.

  • 1 guy cant even lift the bar..

  • Damn that aint bench press, that's close grip bench pres :-/

    Fucking insane.

nice to see someone with a wide range of motion.

  • Now THATS how you bench. Unlike everyone else shows you on youtube

  • @leak86 comment of the century

  • watch?v=b9D9w6FSX4w More of him being badass.

  • perfect

  • i would kill to train with you for a year.

  • 0:28 jizz in his pants

  • PERFECT! u are my new rolemodel haha great brat

  • slow and clean. very nice

  • beautiful

  • Does anyone know what his spotter says at :17. and what it means?

  • @linemen77 tight, hard

  • @linemen77 žostka - tight, hard

  • His form is perfect...

  • Holy shit - thats was awesome!! Nice work bro!!

  • 0:29 goddamn weightlifting DEMON SCREAM

  • Fuck. You are a fucking monster.

  • respect 5³³³³³

  • Love how he doesn't do the retarder back snapping technique where you only move the bar 5 inches...

  • his grip is close because this is a standard powerlifting grip. with this grip he is able to press more weight because he is using triceps and back as well and not just his chest. thats why his elbows are angled and not parallel to his chest.

  • @havikairsoft haha that is not a standard powerlifting grip. Powerlifting is about moving maximal weight with a minimal ROM. He is pressing with a narrow grip because he is keeping the strain off of his shoulders. Read some of his interviews.

  • @jlinteris minimal ROM?? you have it all wrong buddy. the reason why he is pausing at the bottom of the press is because at a standard powerlifting meet a judge will tell you to press the weight when it touches youre chest. and for the comment about keeping the strain off his shoulders is why i said that in the first place. he is using that grip to help distribute the weight to all helping muscles instead of keeping strain on the chest and and anterior delts alone.

  • @havikairsoft LOL #1) where did I say anything about pausing and #2) you WANT to keep the strain on your chest and shoulders. If everyone could distribute the weight out, so to speak like you suggest, by benching close grip then EVERYONE would do it. I have competed in powerlifting competitions in the CPU/IPF. As for saying I have it wrong about using a minimal ROM, that just shows you have no clue... like I said, read some of his interviews and maybe compete once in your life.

  • @jlinteris "SHOULDERS"? What is shoulders? Deltoid muscles (which one)? Or joints? Rotator cuffs? You figure out what you talking about before you make a comment next time. Because it sounds like you dont know jack shit. And BTW, IT IS A STANDARD PL GRIP. Go play WOW, iron sport is not for you.

  • @dan7edan7e Ha, ha... a standard powerlifting grip hey. That is CLOSE GRIP and even KK talks about how he benches super narrow to keep the strain off his "SHOULDERS". Not rotator, delts or anything specific but the whole area. You really are ignorant to the sport.

  • @dan7edan7e Maybe you better get your facts straight before you start calling people out. This is a narrow grip, and he does it due to the many injuries of his chest and "deltoids" he has had. Traditionally power lifters grip very wide in competition because it reduces the range of motion.

  • @jaco1159 you guys are nuts.... what reduces the ROM is the curled back and the narrow grip, which allows you to place the bar on your lower chest / upper abs, rather than the usual way.... anyways I live in Russia, and maybe we have different weightlifting schools, but THIS IS STANDARD POWERLIFTING GRIP (or at least one of them).

  • why do you use close grip?

  • Comment removed

  • @datsuncomfort ya come back and talk to us when you can bench 250kg and deadlift over 400kg like the guy in the video can and back it up with a video, then you can shout your mouth off.........and who gives a fuck where you work

  • Such flawless form and such a close grip at such a heavy load. This unbelievable!

  • flawless form

  • very strong !! almost close grip !

  • Warmup weights ;)

  • @arsenalmanic You do it then :

  • @DimitarDobrinov

lol im joking. its a sarcastic comment. do you understand what that means? :)

that is very impressive man, well done

  • @arsenalmanic Don't you understand that sarcasme is hard to express in a comment, especially when you use no emoticons at all.

  • Dayum! that is pure strength lying on that bench

  • damn thats easy! his insanely strong! and actualy that is a quite narrow grip...230kg.damn!

  • thats almost a close grip bench press

  • if it wasn't for those pauses, i'm sure he'd do at least 2 more reps. ridiculous strength.

  • brutal! he owns that weight!

  • thats crazy his grip width is pretty narrow

  • I love how he trains in a public gym with no shirt on.

  • this is a spectacular bench. impeccable technique as usual, smooth and with the pause.

  • @utukk

my friend, you are thinking pounds not kilos.

  • @Sirkelsag666 I think each to his own 250 pounds is respectable as well for little guys lets say but rofl is he that dum that he cant see 5 plates each side?

  • @utukk ahhh the worlds biggest retard...first of all you cant even push a fuckin fly so stfu

  • @utukk

230 kg dumbass is 507 pounds you are thinking about 230 pounds which is less than 200 kgs

  • anyone know how tall he is?

  • @LogicDenied 6'4 or 6'5

  • @richiethepimphustler Is he really that tall?

  • @sammcl16890 Nah, In an interview done for Bogatyr, Konstantinovs claimed to be 190 cm, which is about 6'3".

  • @cliftonpeele I guess there is hope for us tall guys :)

  • ridiculous

  • the longer the arms the harder it is to bench alot of weight its a lot of contraction, its a kenis principle. if he was smaller like and had sorter arms he could bench 600 3-4 x easy

  • nice gym

  • that is unbelivable strength but its mainly all tricepts as its a close grip bench press.Fantastic great stuff good power

  • Fantastic lift. Note he doesnt bounce the weight or keep it in motion. He stops and presses it dead off of him. Incredible strength-

  • i am sure his triceps are the strongest muscles in the world

  • @TheSuperber Yeah, cuz that's a pretty narrow grip and he uses it in competitions.

  • thats just nasty

  • Close-grip is the best .

  • Utterly amazing. Definitely one of the best lifters of the moment.

  • wow, your post is 2% text and 98% retard

  • @User5127 Lmao, loved that.

  • Strong doesn't even begin to describe

  • touch and go he could've done several more. the pause is what makes it insane

  • Brilliant form

  • incredible power.

  • this is more then raw, this is exellent:-)

  • Now THAT'S a bench press! (3 actually)

  • Actually 42 if you count in youtube reps.

  • I think he could have gotten out 2 more easy. Impressive bro!

  • Comment removed

  • Demonically close grip, as well.

  • That is so damn good.

    Especially with those pauses.

  • Awesome strength!!!!

  • the dude's a fucking tank bro, did you see how easy he did that triple? I think he can hit 600 raw with a lil bit of cheat form for sure with that close grip of his too!
