I do not understand why a tank can not be ten times thicker armor, with practice I know that will go 60 km / h or 20km / h and so it is hit. I would rather live and be hit three times more than 60km / h going to have no resistance to the attack. The poor soldiers had to be killed by a foolish builders.

Vehicles used for parts before being disposed of or shipped back. The high cost of shipping these back to the states and repairing may be more than a new one. After WWII we left hundreds of thousands of vehicles and planes were they were when the war ended. I have photos of many almost new aircraft being buried in the pacific. The only ones that came back had NO BATTLE DAMAGE and less than 50 hours on the airframe. My mothers family in Belgium earned extra cash by scrapping after WWII

Especially at 0:37 where you can get a good shot of an untarp'd tank. That looks like it's easily repairable. Or better yet, you could just take it apart and put it back together as an entirely new tank to save money.
ANY armored vehicle can be disabled or destroyed. Tactics are the key. Simple things such as using dismounted infantry in direct support to root out anti tank teams. Easy stuff that was learned years ago seems to have been forgotten for some ridiculous reason. Thankfully, the design of these vehicles have kept the crew fatalities to a minimum.
Many of our brothers died in those vehicles. Many of the rag heads that put the IEDs in died of lead poisoning. Remember our brother, as they died as heroes. Dont remember remember the rag heads existed !!

@c53204 they are one of the best tanks. Trust me. In tank on tank against t-72's, T-80"s we have about a 50-1 kill ratio. Most of These tanks here were blown up by IED's. The insurgents would take old air force ordinance, and 155mm shells and bury them in the highways. No tank in the world can survive a blast of that magnitude from underneath. However, the M-1 had a low crew death ratio due to the way the armor deflects the blast.

Vehicles used for parts before being disposed of or shipped back. The high cost of shipping these back to the states and repairing may be more than a new one. After WWII we left hundreds of thousands of vehicles and planes were they were when the war ended. I have photos of many almost new aircraft being buried in the pacific. The only ones that came back had NO BATTLE DAMAGE and less than 50 hours on the airframe. My mothers family in Belgium earned extra cash by scrapping after WWII

Either massive Iraqi pride or you're just silly. There as exactly NO reports, from any side, of an M1 or M1A1/A2 getting knocked out by enemy fire in Iraq or Afghanistan.
An RPG-7 standard rocket cannot get through the side skirts. At all. You need an advanced PG-7VR rocket, and it seems like it's out of the insurgent's budget to equip all RPG teams with said rocket.

ANY armored vehicle can be disabled or destroyed. Tactics are the key. Simple things such as using dismounted infantry in direct support to root out anti tank teams. Easy stuff that was learned years ago seems to have been forgotten for some ridiculous reason. Thankfully, the design of these vehicles have kept the crew fatalities to a minimum.

@c53204 they are one of the best tanks. Trust me. In tank on tank against t-72's, T-80"s we have about a 50-1 kill ratio. Most of These tanks here were blown up by IED's. The insurgents would take old air force ordinance, and 155mm shells and bury them in the highways. No tank in the world can survive a blast of that magnitude from underneath. However, the M-1 had a low crew death ratio due to the way the armor deflects the blast.
