Chris...will have to face leaving this earth when God calls him from it. If he doesn't open his eyes to the truth by then, he will, (even though he may hate to,) face the truth, head on. Prepare for a Crash landing, bud. Hope you come to the real world of truth and reality and quit playing around.
Christmas is a secular holiday. I get creeped out when I hear songs extolling "the infant Lord". The Bible was written by people who thought lords and kings and slaves and holy wars were AOK. Today, we regard such behavior as barbaric. So why continue to seek to be a slave to a slave-master in the sky?
Christmas is a lot more fun when you're not celebrating the birth of a destined human sacrifice.
At my house, I can add up the IQs of my mother, sister, and brother-in-law and just barely break 100. Oh, to be spending my time with Hitchens & Harris, Dawkins & Dennett. But, what the hell, I still wish a healthy and peaceful secular day, every day, to every one of you!
how can Christmas be so bad? Hitchens gets to wear a funny hat and sing, and we can gaze into the beautiful lights on the Christmas tree..I wonder how long this one party state North Korea joke is going to last. People describe Disneyland as fascist, but it doesn't seem to be unbearable to its visitors--neither is Christmas unbearable or fascist.. spreading around alot of goodwill, parties, and gifts--

I know many christians who drink to excess, smoke and have a caffeine addiction. Most of them have children, I wonder if that's the common link.
