What is the age that is considered old enough to take care like 13-14 years old is that old enough and if u have study the facts and other stuff about it?
dear teeny my brother's rabbit Cinnamon just died today because of a stray cat bit it in the neck. should i buy a new rabbit to replace Cinnamon or just leave Oreo(my other rabbit) alone with no buddys?
Because of this video I understand why my mother always said no to pets, and after having hamsters for years (my hamsters never NEEDED to go the vet, and lived for 3 years each) and now that I'm older and more ressponsible, my mother finally said yes, and he lived 8 wonderful years R.I.P Chip.
I adopted 3 rabbits- my first rabbits (1 in Jan (mini-rex mix), 1 in Feb (dutch), and 1 in July (flemish giant)) last year and I'm sure my parents didn't expect for them to cost this much.. XD
My one rabbit- a dutch, broke his leg and he's cost us around 1000 bucks so far.
But I love them and made sure I did so much research beforehand <3
i'm not kidding when i say i have researched the rabbit i want for 3 months and am finally getting it today after showing my parents a 20 page booklet i wrote up myself on how to care for it, i have already got a local vet that knows how to treat rabbits just in case of illness. i have also made it an inside rabbit as i live in a hot place and its long haired, so it'll be getting plenty of air conditioning! XD
I rescued my rabbit from neighbors who didn't want it anymore after 1 week and were going to send her to the pet store. She is so sweet and nice so I gave her a 2nd chance.
I almost started crying, or I did start crying on the first picture of this video.
I'm an animal lover, and it hurts me to see animals like that. It's a good thing I'm an animal lover, I just love it, I have a hamster, and a cat. And soon getting a Rabbit!
Thanks so much for all your comments. It's really heartening to know that so many of us are fighting for the welfare of our furry friends. Rabbits sadly are being abused and ill-treated every single day in fur farms, meat farms, testing laboratories, homes of irresponsible pet owners etc. With our concerted efforts in educating the public on these intelligent, affectionate creatures, and shedding light on the abuse that they cruelly receive - we CAN improve their lives. =)
So true! It really pisses me off when idiots buy pets brainlessly and with the same idiotic thoughtlessness abandon the poor thing, thinking they are doing the poor animal a favour. Morons they are, they should get a taste of their own medicine those fools.
If you can't commit, then for crying out loud don't get a pet lah. What's wrong with people nowadays? No decency!
I didnt adopt my rabbit but i bought it because it didnt look too happy where it was and i felt sorry for him but i didnt buy him for easter it was for my birthday and i studied rabis for 1 year
my rabbit gives me a big headache everytime she stains herself, but at the end of the day, shes the one bringing comfort to everyone who comes home to her (cos her cage is put near the main door).
I can't agree more. I found my 1st rabbit abandoned and infected with scabies. I brought her to the vet, cured it and it had stayed with me for coming a year now. I also got her a companion by adopting from SPCA. Pls help to pass this msg around and create awareness.
Please do not buy bunny on impulse!!! Rabbits are 10 years commitment and they are not low maintenance. There are more than 3 rabbits abandoned every day.
