  • The tank was installed level. There was a shot of the level after installation on top of the concrete footing. The yard has a slope. That is why one end is higher than the other. If you want the access porters to be the same height off the ground, all that is needed is to add more soil around the lowest end. The contractor was just following the contour of the yard.

  • Excellent video - thanks.

  • Umm, i maybe missing something but what is the differance between this system and a standard 2 compartment septic tank ? and the installer looks like they are doing a good job u can see that the grade is sloping off

  • This is a package sewage treatment plant rather than a septic tank.

An aerated biological system, the HydroClear benefits from a moving bed biological reactor, or MBBR, at its core - a new process in the package wastewater market.

The HydroClear produces an astonishing pollutant removal level of 97% and carries full European 'CE' accreditation.

More detailed information on how the HydroClear works and performs can be found on the Balmoral Tanks website.

  • The installers did a good job on this as the garden is on a slope as can be seen on the video. The HydroClear was installed perfectly level and has given outstanding performance since day one.

  • Without being nasty, who were the contractors for this instolation? I wouldn't want them in my garden. The ground round the acsess lids wasnt level either that or the tank wasnt level! I do appology's but i'm not sure i think this install was good at all.
